Methodic App is a free widget for Android that let you auto-manage your App in a smart and new way.
Just add the widget on your home screen and use your phone normally. Methodic will undertstand, by your daily phone use, how to manage your most used App on your home screen. Methodic is able to forecast your actions, giving you the functions you need at the right time, a smart shorcutter to exploit better the limited space of your home screen.
Methodic does not require any configuration to start working. Keep your home screen tidy, just use Methodic and you will never need to search where it is the app you need.
You can exclude any application you don't want into the widget putting them into the blacklist. Methodic will stop the analysis on blacklisted applications.
Since Methodic suggests you a contact from your phone, You can choose to call him/her or to open person's details, clicking directly on it.

The app only allows a maximum of 3 shortcuts in a 4x1 space, saving the 4th slot for the app's own shortcut. If someone needed to edit the app, they could go to the drawer. 2 stars because any moder phone can fit 20+ apps into a 4x1 space.

Neat idea, works well. I would give 4.5 stars except that it wastes space by putting a big shortcut to its own settings page in prime real-estate and you can't remove it. This might not be so bad if there was any good reason to visit that settings page beyond the initial setup.

Any app I've just used appears immediately. I call the same number at the same time every day. Needs to bring the contact into the menu before I call. I often check Twitter after my email, regardless of the time of day, but Methodic doesn't seem to learn this. Overall still not a bad app, and I'll continue to use it.

Seems to work well after 30 minutes. Able to remove apps from the widget (nova launcher). Great idea for an app. Good potential. Needs moderately priced paid version to remove ads and expand functionality.

The concept is great. Not something I'd stick with really. I use Smart Launcher and it allows sorting the app drawer by most used so I have this exact functionality already. I know Quad Drawer does the same. So nothing terribly ground breaking. As previous users mentioned it's not terribly useful when you only have 3 shortcuts. That being said, don't let my review sway you. Try it for yourself. It might be perfect for someone else. Just not for me.
