TripLog 2.0 Mileage Tracker

Simple and easy to use and save time and money. This app has saved me easily $80 per month more than I was saving by trying to keep track of my business mileage for my taxes. The accuracy, ease of use, and auto classification makes this app the perfect mileage tracking tool. Great value!

Piss-poor. This app missed a 30 mile trip. Not acceptable. App deleted.

The app has impressed us with its simplicity & ease of use. This far we've not missed any stops and have been very happy.

More tax refund. Does exactly what it says on the tin and saves loads of time calculating business miles and gives you the record for the tax man!

A once great app. The original was simple and worked great. A few updates latter and it was all but useless. After a review the developer suggested the new version was better. So here we are writing another review. Again it was better. A couple of updates and it is now over complicated and unuseable. It is way to easy to pause the auto start option and days fo by without recorded millage. Also now ive noticed some of my milage is now classes as charitable. I must have hit a button that switched it. Now i have to figure out how to edit that out. Does everything you need but good luck setting it up to do the most simple of task easily. I have even been a paying subcriber for a couple years. So i dont want to find another app but this one is not doing its job.

I use this on a Google Pixel XL. I absolutely love this program. I have tried others, and this one is hands down the best. I love it when a program actually does what they say it will do. I use is with the bluetooth activation. Its pretty accurate, although if you do a lot of quick start and stops, which I do, you might find your ending odometer off by a mile or two at the end of the day. But that's easily corrected, and therefore not an issue. The app logs are easy to use and set up. The online logs are super. The backup feature is great! Once you get your locations named, then its pretty much run it and forget it. Strongly recommended!

I was honestly hoping they would work with me in an honest error on their part. Im a one person buisness and gave access to my spouse so they could help me with my taxes at the end of the year. I signed up for the professional plan and was very happy. I checked my bank account and it charged me $12. I asked them and they said oh because you have another user. I never authorized the price increase they basically said too bad your paying. I have contacted my bank and the screen shot proof of what my account was set to in order to rectify the problem.. Don't trust them, they switched my account and never notified me then they charged my account that amount. There are plenty of free apps that will do the same. Please do your research.

Great application. Only issue I felt is that it may fail to work if clear memory.

I have been using this application since December of 2016. It is easy and efficient and helped so much with my taxes. I just printed it and handed to my accountant. All of my receipts and pictures of the receipts are there if needed. It's categorized and my mileage is logged automatically. I compared 5 different apps before using Trip Log and have recommended it to many friends who are using it now and as happy as me!

I mean, at the end of the day, it will track your milage, but it's a huge hassle to use all the time. I am constantly having to re-enter my finishing milage. I had an 80+ mile day disappear, probably because I pushed the wrong thing. Tonight, I was finally relieved, like I had done it correctly, and was just starting to investigate some features, then I get a notification from the app while I'm in it. I hit the stop button because I didn't need it for anything, and it reset my 64 mil trip to 13 miles! Nothing about this app is clear and straight forward. I will be looking for a new one when my subscription expires next year.

Tripling 2.0 is really great. It comes with a built-in widget that starts the app automatically when your car moves more than about a quarter mile and it is very accurate when it comes to tracking your actual mileage. It also has six different classifications for the type of mileage that you are actually driving. Having said all that it should be noted that It's always a good idea to keep your eye on the recorded mileage as it does get out of sync on occasion. But if that does happen it has a very easy to use editing feature that allows you to bring it right back. It also keeps track of many other vehicle related expenses.

Upgraded from V1 as timeout kicked in even though I had the paid version 3 years ago. This version did not record any mileage even though I have it set up to start when docked/connected to BT and speed/miles threshold reached. V1 auto start worked everytime

This is a good fuel and mileage tracker, but I really wish it had an ifta report option that would lay this out in an ifta report pdf to make life easier. Hate having to spend 2 hours filing the thing out.

I can see that this helps me a lot. TripLog solved my problems 100 percent. What took 4-8 hours manually is now done in under 10 minutes.

Inconsistent. Sometimes it records the trip, sometimes it does not. It stops in mid-trip and starts recording a new trip by itself, losing the first trips records. The IT guys tried to help, but could not find out what is wrong. I'm trying Everlance next.

An extremely helpful app! I love using the app and I've enjoyed it for a few months. It has helped me calculate my deductions on mileage, saving me a lot on expenses and taxes.

This app is a great solution for small businesses with a team of employees, contractors, or sales reps who use their personal vehicles to travel for business. Not reliable for me. Despite Bluetooth connecting trips would not start as set. OBD mileage readings seemingly not working. Whole thing gets totally skewed when trips are missed which makes it useless to me.

It was a good decision when I downloaded this app. It works very well, great customer support. Highly recommend if you want to track mileage. It's even better than any other! Easy to figure out, reports are great.

No good unless you are lucky enough to have a phone that doesn't need power save. You need to manually start and stop most times

Very good automated trip logger. Please have the app default to the previously selcted trip type (business vs personal) based on previous selected for that specific start/end destination. This would take eliminate the need for any manual input.
