Use an an online calculator. It will be more useful. Fail example: You can't calculate a loan greater than 24 months.

Z70%

"Simple guidance you can trust." Simple is the key word there. Does not account for a wide range of variables such as interest-only mortgages or superannuation. But what it does do, it does ok.

A70%

Loaded the app and it didn't have the superannuation calculator on it

last updated May 2011!!!! have the reviews, comments, suggestions, feed-back EVER been read???? I expect BETTER from ASIC!!!! your REPUTATION is questioned. come on, you CAN DO better!!!!

Y70%
by Y####:

Too limited, why only set selectable loan terms specially when the maximum is only 2 years. Should have had it as a user inputed value which actually would have been easier to develop.

I attempted to perform a very basic personal loan calculation and the App would only allow me to input a repayment duration of a maximum of 24 months !! Personal loans usually are of at least 3 years duration.

M70%

Very limited options for calculating personal loans. Seriously, limiting repayment period to 2 years? Not helpful.

R70%

The options are very limiting, eg. terms of loan.

Can't enter arbitrary numbers for loan durations... Why?

R70%
by R####:

Pretty average web based iPhone ui junk. Very basic calculators which work fine. Stop with copying the iPhone app look all the time. It doesn't fit with the android phones

Z70%
by Z####:

Laggy iPhone port. Could use graphs, inbuilt consideration for a 2% interest rate rise, and a 'how much can I afford' calculator

I70%
by I####:

Utterly reliable source in Australia's regulator ASIC

J70%
by J####:

It is a simple app that does exactly what it states. Easy to use also. It is however to restricted on time frame for loans. Why not an entered value rather than choices that are other not applicable - 24month max on a person loan?! Many people take 48+ on larger personal loans (cars, etc). Fix this and you get 5stars.

M70%

Really slow iphone looking app. So bad
