BitTorrent Sync

Been using Sync for several months. Impressed but wish it had better notifications for example if a source goes offline or the network connection drops below a certain performance criteria. Frustrated by the limited sorting... It seems to default to alphabetical regardless of the sort and no way to change it. But still worth an install to have access to my files with minimal involvement with cloud services. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature but since changing to Samsung Galaxy S7 flv files don't play.

I like how fast it downloads the files. One thing I get frustrated about is that I am unable to see more then a few words of the file name then it goes....making it hard to tell exactly which file I am going to be downloading. It feels like I am walking in the dark. Please add a feature to see the full file name before choosing to download something, since some files are huge and it's a waste of time and space trying to download the right one.

Being a fotographer I have to deal with a lot of problems: gear, knowlage, venues, models, etc... Not all problems are related to tecghnology (which should mostly help, even if it doesn't), but some are. One of them is passing my photos to my friends and not all ways are free of charge and so simple as Bit Torrent. It is just so practical.

This app is working so well for me. Made so meany things in my life esier. Not the happiest about the branding change but what ever. I just wish they would put the paying customers first when it comes to adding new systems to my pool. I shouldn't have to start the tryal just to add it to my pool.

Almost completely useless for SD Card. Gave it permissions, created folder, used sync to copy files into it. It pretends like it copies the files into the folder and gives no error message, but the folder stays empty. Cannot share any files, it can only receive files from PC. Also problems with it not liking UI layers and needing everything turned off. (Update: Looks like it MIGHT be working, just takes several minutes for it to suddenly decide to actually copy the files across.)

Speed rates are good comparing to the competition. GUI setup is missing HTTPS protocol and custom port setting. I have a constant problems with peers availability on different phones. That is why I moved to Syncthing. So far no problems there.

this is the second time this has happened. also, just having it open in the background witg no transfers makes my battery drain approximately twice as quickly.

It is wonderful having all my devices synched! I'm not very techie but did manage to learn to use Bit Torrent Sync

Found some problems with corrupted pictures. Will keep eyw on it. However mutli platform is great and does it's job.

Note that the newer version is Resilio Sync. This app makes it easy to transfer music without using cloud space. I learned the hard way that both devices have to be powered on until the sync is complete.

Wanted to share a big audio recording that was very important, added the folder where it was, and a 700mb file became 0 size. Will never use again unless file is recovered, this is outrageous!!!

This solves so many problems. This should be built in to Android.

I use the mobile app in combination with the desktop app to keep files synced everywhere.

It was impossible to link Resilio with any device. It looks like a service you have to pay for. But without that the app is actually completely unuseful. Uninstalled instantly.

Like a private dropbox, but more flexible. I sync my desktop & phone, backing up downloads and photos from phone to PC and using it to swap notes and files in both directions to and from several folders. Does just what I want it to.

I love this app, im using trial 30days version of pro in windows, my problem, i cant rename the folder in android app, please fix, that i can't rename the folder, if I sync 4 devices with folder DCIM, all of them are DCIM, DCIM (1), DCIM (2), DCIM (3), i cant rename it from the app android.
