Välkky 5 Peikkoleiri -pelin jännittävässä maailmassa pelaaja auttaa peikkoa selviytymään pulasta ratkomalla tehtäviä, joissa hän tarvitsee äidinkielen taitoja. Peli harjoittaa sanaluokkien sanojen käyttöä, taivutusta ja tunnistamista peruskoulun viidennen luokan tavoitteiden mukaisesti, mutta se sopii myös kuudesluokkalaisille kertaustehtäväksi. Peli on uuden opetussuunnitelman mukainen.

Välkky 5 Peikkoleiri -pelissä harjoitellaan:
- sanaluokkia: verbit, substantiivit, adjektiivit, pronominit, numeraalit ja taipumattomat sanat
- verbin persoona- ja aikamuotoja
- nominien sijamuotoja.

Oppisisältö on integroitu jännittävällä tavalla osaksi tasohyppelypeliä, mikä innostaa harjoittelemaan pidempään asioita, joiden omaksuminen vaatii toistoa.

Pelin sisältö on suunniteltu yhteistyössä Sanoma Pron Välkky äidinkieli ja kirjallisuus -oppimateriaalin tekijöiden ja Tampereen yliopiston kanssa. Peli on täysin kotimaista tuotantoa.

Peli on lapsiystävällinen. Se ei tarjoa in-app-ostoja eikä mainoksia.
