צדקה - חב"ד נווה חוף, ראשל"צ

בבית חב"ד נווה חוף שעובר בימים אלו מחנות בגודל 20 מטר למשכנו החדש בו יתקיימו מניני חב"ד התוועדויות בר מצוות בריתות חתונות חגים ומועדים סיוע לנזקקים שיעורי תורה וחסידות שמח שהצטרפתם לתומכיו ומודה לכם על תרומתכם לפעילותו העניפה.

מעלת מצוות הצדקה
מצוות הצדקה היא מן החשובות שבמצוות. "גדולה צדקה" - אמרו חכמינו - "שמקרבת את הגאולה"! מצוות הצדקה מכפרת על חטאי האדם כפי שנאמר "וחטאך בצדקה פרוק"!. בנתינת צדקה אנו מרגילים את עצמנו לתת את נפשנו למען הדברים שבהם אנו מאמינים. כאשר האדם נותן חלק מכספו למטרות צדקה - הוא נותן בכך את נפשו.

"ציון במשפט תיפדה ושביה בצדקה" (ישעיהו א,כז)
בתקופה שבה אנו חיים, תקופת רדיפת המותרות ותאוות-הממון - אין ערוך לחשיבותה של מצות הצדקה: המצוה לתת לאחרים, לוותר על האנוכיות ועל טיפוח החמרנות האישית למען הזולת.
זו מצוה שבה מוצא ביטוי חזק הצורך הבסיסי להעדיף את הרוח על החומר, את הנפש על הגוף, את הערכים על התאוות האישיות. זו מצוה המחנכת את האדם להתחשב בזולת ואף לוותר על שלו למען צרכי הזולת.
יש בזה נקודה נוספת: אנו רואים כי האדם נקשר לכספו אפילו מבחינה נפשית. אדם עלול להרגיש, כי נטילת כספו ממנו, כמוה כנטילת חייו. זאת, משום שבכסף זה הוא השקיע את כל נפשו ואת כל עמלו, או משום זה הוא יכול לקנות ולרכוש את כל אשר נפשו חומדת.
לכן חשוב כל כך להתרגל לתת צדקה. בנתינת צדקה אנו מרגילים את עצמנו לתת את נפשנו למען הדברים שבהם אנו מאמינים. כאשר האדם נותן חלק מכספו למטרות צדקה - הוא נותן בכך את נפשו.
לעובדה זו יש חשיבות רבה בימינו, בדורות שבהם נתקטנו המוחות ונצטמצמו הלבבות. כיום קשה ליהודי הרבה יותר מבעבר למסור את כל ישותו לקב"ה. ירידת הדורות והחמרנות שפשתה באנשים מקשים על התמסרות אמיתית ופנימית כזאת. לכן יש חשיבות רבה מאוד למצוות הצדקה, שגם היא בבחינת מסירת-הנפש, כאמור. היא אינה דורשת כל מאמץ רוחני; רק החלטה של רגע ונתינה מעשית של הכסף לצרכי צדקה.
יש במצוות הצדקה גם יחוד נפלא. לגבי כל מצווה או מעשה טוב נאמר במפורש כי אסור לנסות את הקב"ה. אין לומר לקב"ה: אני אעשה מצווה פלונית ואתה תן לי דבר זה או אחר. אולם לגבי מצוות הצדקה אומר הקב"ה: "בחנוני נא בזאת" - תנו מעשר מהכנסותיכם (10) לצדקה ותיראו אם לא אתן לכם כמה פעמים ככה!
מנהג נתינת המעשר לצרכי צדקה התקבל בכל תפוצות ישראל. ישנם אף כאלה המהדרים במצווה זו ונותנים חומש מהכנסותיהם (20) לצדקה. המצווה היא מצווה בכל מקרה, ויחד עם זאת מאמין היהודי כי נתינת כסף לצדקה כמוה כהענקת הלוורה לקב"ה, ככתוב: "מלווה ה' - חונן דל" (משלי יט,יז). מובטח לנו, איפוא, כי ה"לווה" (הקב"ה) לא ישאר חייב ואף ישלם את "חובו" בכפליים...
האמונה היהודית גם גורסת, כי עלינו לראות את הכסף המצוי בידינו כפיקדון שהפקיד בידינו הבורא כדי שנעשה בו דברים טובים. לכן גם נקראת מצווה זו "צדקה", מלשון "צדק", לאמור: כאשר אנו נותנים מכספנו לנצרכים איננו עושים "טובה" אלא צדק!
* יש לתת צדקה בכל יום חול (בערבי שבתות וחגים - לתרום סכום כפול, גם עבור השבת או החג). חשוב מאד שתימצא בבית קופת-צדקה אשר לתוכה יהיה ניתן לתרום מידי פעם.
* יש לשים דגש רב על חינוך הילדים למתן צדקה. אמצעי מוצלח לכך הוא - לתת לכל ילד קופה אישית ולהצביע לו לתרום לתוכה מידי יום, וכאשר תתמלא - לתת בידו את ההחלטה לאיזו מטרת צדקה להעביראת הכסף.
