About Biscotte KP
The Biscotte Knitting Patterns application offer knitting fans customized patterns depending on the desired size and the selected yarn gauge. These knitting patterns are available in printable format in both languages (French and English).
The Biscotte Knitting Patterns app contain a hat pattern and sock patterns offered in "cuff-down" version (from ribs to toes), "Toes-up" (from toes to ribs) with dual heel choice or shortened ribs heel. So, the possibility of 5 different patterns offered in 24 sizes and available for every yarn gauge on the market!
It’s really easy to use this fabulous app! You just have to select the language (French or English), the motif (ex: sock knit from ribs to toes with double heel), the desired size (size 6-12 months for man 14US) and the yarn sample (ex: 28 stitches and 24 rows = 10 cm). One pushes on "Abracadabra" and Kapow! You’ll get a custom knitting pattern that can be saved in PDF format and printed on paper as needed.
In addition to your tailor-made pattern a list of various knitting stitch pattern suggested by the number of stitches in your project will also be available in the appendix.
We eventually wish to integrate other garments into this application like custom mitten patterns and more. These additions will be made gradually and, of course, the knitters and knitsters who will already have acquired the Biscotte Knitting Patterns application shall automatically receive updates :-) Isn’t that marvelous??

I would like to see more heel options and I would like to be able to customize the width of the sock, since some people have narrower feet, or just like a snugger fit. I like the format of the pattern that is generated, very easy to follow. Hat option is very useful as well.

I can't possibly imagine why anyone wouldn't love this. I design knitting patterns professionally and downloaded the app to experiment with it rather than out of need. It works incredibly well, produces nice PDF and clear instructions. What's not to love? Well done Biscotte! I look forward to seeing future development.

Very good and simple app! Perfect for straight forward socks and hats patterns for my toddler. My stash will disappear in no time! ????

The fact that it's tailored exactly to the yarn used, my tension and that I can flip between languages and is saved as a PDF is incredible. Sure it's just socks and hats for the time being, but I'm looking forward to potential sweater, glove and mitten patterns. The only thing I would currently like to see is a choice between ribbing (I prefer 2x2 than 1x1). Something that may be too difficult is adding a generic "cable/lace pattern placeholder" in the pattern (k5 p2 [10 st cable] p2 k5 as an example).

Love that chunky yarn, but only have a sock beanie pattern? This helps translate. For now only socks and hats available. Will get 5 stars if they add sweaters, shawls, shorts, and skirts, etc. Request: total yardage per pattern would be great! At a glance, how many skeins needed.

J'ai participé au kickstarter à bras ouvert . cette application à un potentiel énorme. J'ai trouvé des petites erreurs de frappe mais je vais en faire part aux propriétaires lorsque j'aurai deux minutes. Pour ma part, j'ai essayé à 3 reprises de faire des bas et ça ne marchait jamais. Mes calculs n'étaient pas bons etc etc. Là, avec l'App, pas besoin de se casser la tête. Fait un échantillon et puis merci, bonsoir! J'ai dû modifié la longueur un peu mais c'est normal dans mon cas de pied large ;)

Only generates patterns for hats and socks as stated by previous reviewer. Calculator can do the same. Not worth the money.

It's great. It works on my phone but not my note....hmmm, my note is now outdated?
