Birdhouse – for Autism

The lite version is great for what it is, i use it but am on the look out for something else.i know to some people $10 a month isn't much but with with all the other expenses we have aquired that go along with my daughters care it all adds up. So we must cut out any extras we can. Edited to add, that we have so generously been gifted the full version and it has been a serious life saver. Recently my Asd and toddler was hospitalized and thanks to this app i was able to quickly and easily pull up all the info the Drs needed. Saving me from guessing or searching and helping ease the stress of what was an already very stressful time.

I deleted it awhile back and just installed again and was surprised to see it is so expensive now before i only payed $5 a month. Will be looking in to something else

Love it so far! Had one issue with a bug, reported it, got a response, and the bug was fixed within 24hrs. Can't wait to see how they tweak it!

Should make clear that the free version is utterly useless. I wasted time installing and documenting only to find the free version is a 'hook-in'-- I can't view my entries on my phone unless I pay $10/month. If you care about families struggling with autism & trying to help their children, don't waste our precious time. After my son had another heartbreaking episode of self-harming I was looking for help from an app to track his behavior/med changes; all I found from my experience with your app was that people only want to make money off the autistic child and his family.

Download was excited about using it but tried to add things to new account and was told had to upgrade to premium which cost $$, which I don't have to spend on an app so I'm uninstalling it.

I found while looking for an app for Easter Seals. The services of this app offered by Birdhouse is promising. I was not able to use the app. I it was supposed to be limited in functions unless I paid. How can I know if the app is right unless I try it. Signing up for a two trial of an unknown app is not practical in today's app model. Let user use the app - maybe limit to 20 entries. Because I have to sign up to get the full experience of the app, I will be removing and moving on to other apps.

I have 3 on the spectrum along with other medical issues and this app saved my sanity and allows me to truly advocate for my children. Thank you Birdhouse!!!

I really like the app. It is so easy to record event for the day. I am still learning how to use all the features to help track my daughter's patterns.

Unless you pay for the premium, this app is useless.

Installing the lite version is a waste. Any. ..ANY calendar or agenda app offers more than this. Perhaps the subscription allows for a useful app. Since the free version was so. ..so. ..SO very worthless, I won't even try the paid for version. I recommend expanding the free version into something that may actually entice customers to purchase the subscription-where's the lure?

Ok but would be even better if would let me sign in and actually use the app...sounds very interesting jus cant use it.

This is a great way for my husband and I to stay up to date on Liam's activities each day... and see what the other person had to say. It would be great to be able to export the data for a range of dates and email it to myself. That's my only complaint. If I could use the data more easily outside the app, I'd give it five stars. It would also be nice if we could change the color or if there were skins or themes.

I like a lot of the features as it helps me monitor myself. I wish that it was possible to make it about me, as an autistic person. "Change child" in the bottom of the screen is infantilizing and demeaning for me as an autistic adult. Since I have a lot of trouble with executive function and recalling what I've done and not done, I likely will keep using it, but I really wish that it could also be accessible for autistic people who can use it, not just our caretakers. I dislike the association with A$ also.

I had always tried to keep everything in my head. It wasn't working out so well. The thing I love most about the app is also the website. I love the fact that with the app I can just keep track and at the end of the day get on the website and make it even more detailed.

Didnt like it and uninstalled. Still keep sending me emails and there is no option to unsubscribe

I seem to have added my child more than once n can't seem to figure how to delete it

And the charting options are great to see trends! Keep track of medicine, sleep, pooping, food, meltdowns, and activities.

I don't like apps claiming to be free and having no actual use in there free version. Don't bother as I said the paid version may be helpful but in all honesty if you can live without the colourful icons the there are plenty of slicker diary apps out there

Search "birdhouse for autism", 1st Choice will send you to the homepage, where much more is offered if you are interested in this app, and you can create your account, the link is right in front & center. Then sign into your app. I use it constantly but am disappointed I need premium to input food.

Stumbled onto this app while looking for something to track my high functioning autistic son's behavior. This looks like it could be just what I'm hoping for, however it seems very slow to load in the beginning. I was able to track a meltdown, but when I returned to the main page it won't load. :( it has promise, but appears glitchy on my note 3. :/

Can not create an account as the page pops up to register then skips straight to log in so can't even create an account

Like others had posted, the app goes straight to logging in. Skipping over making an account. Uninstall. Please fix. Especially if you are advertising on Facebook. Come on.
