The Old Republic™ Security Key

Does the job, but couldn't they just have used the standard authenticator that everyone else uses? Plus, the game sucks these days so it's not worth using anyway. If you lose your key/switch phones, their support can fix it relatively quickly.

Every time I get a new phone this app doesn't work and I need to get a new key code. And every time it is so hard to find how or where to get it. Any one know where I can find it?

It sucks I took a hiatus from the game when I tried to return my security code was not recognized. No matter how many times I uninstall and reenter my serial number it doesn't work. I'm giving up and playing another game.

But other than that it works just the same as the old version which I had on my s4. Couldn't activate it on the new phone without using it on my old phone to get into my SWTOR account and unlink that SKey, but once I did that and linked this version on my new phone it works like a charm. 4 stars cos of the annoying work-around and going thru pages of SWTOR forum stuff to try (and fail) to find a solution.

minimal adverts and increased security. would be nice if the server synched with the app (so that when you open the app the bar timer is always full) rather than the other way round, but i suppose sacrifices have to be made for security

Apparently 9 and 8 are illegal numbers. Even though the codes they give you have 8s and 9s

I'm sure it would be a nice App if it let me log into it after jumping through all its stupid hoops. Can't get passed the activation code even though I linked my account. Stupid app with EA's dirty prints all over it. Waste of my time and effort.

Don't need to be subbed to have a security key, customer service is really nice. I had an issue with a broken phone where I couldn't switch the key to a new phone. Called customer service, had it fixed in minutes. Eventually uninstalled it and took it off account do to not having anyone to play TOR with. Just reinstalled today and works like a charm. Love it! Free CC as well as an extra vendor for items only people with security keys can buy.

I liked this app but recently it stopped working I uninstalled and reinstalled. Yet when I try to link it just keeps saying it can't find my serial number. Sigh...

This doesn't even work, when you are trying to set it up all it keeps saying is that it couldn't find the serial number. The more and more I have to deal with issues like this the more I realize the devs of SWTOR have no idea what they are doing.

Well after trying to install for the 7th time I give up. Each time I tried to install...it says "installed" yet nothing has been installed on phone. Yes I have checked all connections and seems to work with dozens of other apps... Just not this one. AND when you try to install direct to phone if you don have cookies enabled it wont let you sign on to your Google account. Sorry I don't care for their cookies (with I have not agreed to)to blanket my computer. I try not to deal with google since they sell your info to just about everybody. SWTOR is a great GAME...and Im sure this app is pretty cool...if you can get it with having to compromise your integrity dealing with Google criminals.

Can't be accessed as all my series contain the number 9 which apparently is an illegal character. Bad design!

I had this installed for a long time and decided to play the game again just for fun the other day. Loaded this app up so i could log in. Now it's asking for a seriel number. No longer can log in thanks to it. Great app while it worked though

Set it all up and it is extremely inconsistent with letting me login claiming that the security key is incorrect. Infuriating.

Great app. Just could use a refresh button so if the timer is under a quarter of the way done you can just get a new code. Makes not having to beat the clock. For new phones I just uninstall the app and reset the code via SWTOR site.

This app is a perfect example of listening to the fans. People wanted an updated app to work on their new devices and within a short time, the devs made it happen! I love the perks of having a security key on my account, and knowing my account is secure is even better! This is a must have for any Star Wars The Old Republic player!

So now in order to secure your account from hackers wanting to swipe your cartel coins you have to be subbed? SECURITY SHOULD NOT (FOR ANY REASON) be hidden behind a paywall. Sure, leave the peasants who don't want to pay your ridiculous fees to rot. Not like they've got enough coins to be a target. Elitist BS through and through.

If you play SWTOR a lot or a fan of it and want to make sure hackers or anyone unwanted are not able get into your account then this apps for you. I got this app shortly after Knights of the Fallen Empire started coming out and my Sith Inqisitor lost the main lightsaber due to a server glitch that hackers and taking advantage glitches type players used to sync into my character to get the lightsaber. So I found this app and never have to worry again.

I now have 2 sets of code on my phone to get me into my star wars account but only one of them works. Fix the issue and I'll rate it better

Idiots in the review section think you have to be subbed to do a security key, or to reinstall onto a new device. You don't have to, I am preferred and I have now switched it to three new devices since getting the security key. You just log onto the swtor website, go into your account details, remove the security key from your account and re-add it. It will give you a serial number, just enter that into the app on your new device and bada-bing bada-boom, you're in business.

Ive had to redownload this thing 5 times... After a while the code dosent work have to remove it by goin to the site then redownload it wen i tired of having to go to my email for 1 time passcodes...

I have been having problem where i am trying to use the codes given by this app to login and it has the code is wrong ot it doesnt read the code even though i type in the code once then wait for the next and it still says it is wrong please, fix this i can not login to my account on the website or into my game account

I bought a one time sub to the game, set up the security key option on my account through the website (gave me the serial number), set up this app, and everything runs fine on my tablet. Instantly rewarded me the monthly100 cartel coins for setting it all up.

This works great but I'm sad that it no longer grants monthly Cartel Coins.

Once im open the app, i want my security key number. But when im open the app im required to fill in the blank space with serial number. Now where can i get my serial number for my app so i can get my security key?

This app needs a exit button also very annoying when the key doesn't work the first time or second having to wait for the timer to end =( Suggest a reset button please fix these 2 times and I'd happily give 5 stars =) Don't get me wrong I'm glad to have my account secure just update please thanks.

Overall this is great, and I love the extra cartel coins for securing my account. I just wish it came with a widget, like the Steam authenticator, so you don't have to always open the whole app to get your login code.

Works great and never had problems with it. I might suggest making an app so that we can keep in contact with the friends we make in game so we're not handing out personal info just to talk to someone.

I seen many people saying it's prompting for serial number and such this is because you have to be a sub to swtor your serial number is provided in your account under set up mobile security key

It has 6 digits but it needs 8 so it's completely useless (gave it 5 so people can see it)

The codes aren't working causing too much trouble for me...please fix and I'll give it a 5 for sure thank you :D

I enter the exact serial number the website gives me copy pasted and tripple checked enter the code into the website and it says "sorry, we couldnt find your serial number. Try again

Had trouble installing as I used app from My Apps that gave me the old app that can't be installed anymore. Support set me right eventually and once I had the new one it worked first go. Very frustrating though as there is nothing written on the old app page to indicate it has been replaced.

It worked like a charm for me at one time, when I was still subbed. After I became Preferred, it failed on me after a few months. Great while it lasted.

Asks for serial number that I don't have but the app apparently gives you. Can't access menu because of that. Essentially pointless since it doesn't work.

As the title implies i recently changed my phone and now i am required to enter a serial no. to unlock the key generator , problem is i want email support not phone customer service , i would be very grateful to unlock my account without having to make international phone calls .
