News Reader for Android
Knocks sky news app out of the park. Well done guys like it
Good replacement for the old news and weather app that google ruined. It has a few issues though: 1. The widget takes forever to switch between categories (it's instant in app) 2. If you don't leave a story with the back button, then the next story you click won't load, instead it takes you back to the last story you left open. 3. It has no option to automatically open links in another browser, this would fix issue no. 2 I'll rate this app 5 stars when a "Use external browser by default" option is added.
It drives me crazy that every time I touch of article, it tries to post it on Facebook. I need the ability to turn that off.
This app does not allow me to remove fake news sources like CNN. Total waste of my time if they only focus on Liberal news outlets and no counter balanced Conservative ones.
Find a way to edit sources. The Washington Post has a childish obsession with President Trump
Location doesn't work. I'm in York, UK.. all i get is York, USA. Poor.
Quick way to get to current issues. Only downside is frequent listing of articles with paywalls.
Widgets can't load. But love the design of a high degree of customized sections. Especially being able to remove Top Stories.
I like this app because all my news is in one place.
Just lucked into your app and it is what I was looking for.
Does everything I need. Very little else to ask for.
Gives me an easy place to quickly catch up
Better than opening google news itself
Balanced news from left and right
Great app
nice
Many of the news sources used on this app are not ones I would like to be reading. As with many of these newsreaders, one cannot log in to google, Facebook, Disqus or anything to make comments... which removes a major feature, interactivity.
Just what I was looking for. Google news has destroyed their own product, but this app makes the news useable again! So far no probs, although it would be nice to have a custom section that we could use to get news from specific zipcodes or sources besides local.
I've selected UK and York. Why do you feel the need to display news from places called 'York' in the US?
I like the New York Times, but you cannot read them unless you are a subscriber. While I am subscribed for 10 free articles per month, they are interfering with my ability to read them with ads for a paid subscription and asking for sign-in.
Program works OK, but every story is anti Trump liberal drivel fake news. I would like to go to a big city newspaper to find real news on politics and not elitest anti American views. God this is getting old.
You go into sections and eliminate the ones you do not want. My example is the sport section. You now return and what do you see? Football stories everywhere you look. How is this news? Why bother having sections to pick if they are ignored?
Could use easier switching between geographic preferences, currently done in the app settings menu. But overall I'm very pleased with the app.
After months of mental breakdown and crossed eyes, I finally caught on to the TROLLS who designed this app. You see, they've made their icon a simple square, which is fine, but they've skewed it 0.5° to the right, so it's imperceptibly crooked to the naked eye. I zoomed in close and proved that the devs are trying to SCREW with my HEAD. Instant uninstall and I'm calling the police. You can suffer my one star review in the slammer, you CROOKS.
This is the good one which I opted earlier,no trap news can easily understood by ignoramus
I've found it to be very good & hasn't crashed yet unlike a few others I've tried.
Some stupid staff member of yours broke your filter feature.
Good layout, good news, so far, I like it very much. Keep up the good work!
Easy to use, concise, and accessible for visually impaired.
Great app, very user friendly
Please change nothing. Thanks..
