This is an app that can be used to determine which species of seaweed or kelp found in spring. Biologists call gladly such tools for a key. There are over 400 species of seaweeds in Norway - this app covers 38 species / groups that are common in Lygra (outside Bergen). These species are common along the Norwegian coast, therefore, the app is available for most locations outside Lygra. However missing app species found on very exposed places, and species found only elsewhere in Norway. The app is designed for use without a microscope, but the very most equal of the species can only be distinguished under the microscope; This key can not be used to distinguish these species from one another.
