DisplayFusion Remote for Android
Either a widget or an intent consumer that works with manual intent launcher, either one would do the job. Ability to use parameters with scripted functions would also be welcome. A list of open windows and their states would also be useful, with the ability to select one to open/close/max/etc the selection.
Great app, I just wish there were widgets for commonly used actions.
I cannot for the life of me understand why this app doesn't include the ability to shut down your computer remotely. Please, devs, add this feature and I'll change my rating.
Needs a favorite commands section and widgets for quick use.
Not bad. Pretty cool
I never noticed that this was included with my display fusion license. Like why? But hey the custom C# scripts work as intended, well this is geared more towards the devs and I love that (being a dev myself)
You could add an option for favorites actions. Maybe you can add buttons instead dropdown list ;)
Awesome appreciate that is made even better by the remote functionality!
WiFi only... should mention that. Big companies don't have phones on same network as computers
Not bad. Pretty cool
It provides you access to some basic settings on you're DF Desktop (advanced settings/tweaking not accessible). However it doesn't have anything that stands out. Widgets would be a good idea. Just noticed the compatibility with Tasker. It's a solid start with plenty of room to expand. Keep it up guys :)
Honestly, there's no practical use for this. I love the main program, but this seems like dev money wasted on a pointless product. I can mess with settings, enable/disable stuff, but honestly... why do it from my phone/tablet? I have to be able to see the PC anyway to do any of this, I'll just sit down and do it if I really really need to change any of the settings. Don't waste your time, it's not a view/control the computer remotely type of remote. It's like a TV remote with all the good buttons gouged out by your baby brother. Better to just walk up to your TV or get a different remote.
Only thing that is very useful about this app is the ability to run custom scripts. So if you can program (C# cause VB is trash lol) then you can make great use of this. The only custom scripts that I've used is to shutdown my PC, make it sleep or troll friends with random messages on the screen lol. If i ever need it do something else, i love the ability to add it myself. To the average user, it's not entirely useful. In theory though, this app can virtually do anything so for that I'll give 4 stars.
DF on PC is the best fix around for hopelessly broken Nvidia surround, this app is a companion to that program. In that context it works flawlessly, with plenty of gravy functions on the side. My only thought on how this app could be improved, would be to add a widget where we could place the most used functions for quick and easy access, but that is certainly not enough to dock a star. :)
Love it, I am using it to remotely launch certain programs (TeamViewer if I want to control my PC and I am in work or other place, I just run a custom script and bam, my program is running.) Also using it for locking my windows+ putting my monitors to sleep, really awesome (it's one of the custom scripts that you can download in the desktop DIsplayFusion). Only bad thing is that I am using it on my smartwatch too (Sony Smartwatch 3) and I have one problem. Whenever I open the app from the smartwatch it asks me to open the program on mobile phone first.. Which is kinda redundant because if I am already on my phone, in the DisplayFusion app, I don't need to use my watch anymore. Could you please look into it? I would really love to just touch my smartwatch and be able to sleep monitors quickly. Thanks a lot and keep up the great work!
it keeps shutting down on me 1 star actually no star
Can use most of the hotkey functions. But please add more remote friendly functions like mouse and keyboard remote or sleep/shutdow function. Most of the available remote tools are rather useless since they are really only usefull if you are sitting at the computer
I thought this would give me control of my mouse cursor, but it only allows you to snap the cursor to specific spots on the screen... Add that function and this will be a 5-star hands down!

Only downloaded because I thought I could access my volume mixer via this app.
Needs a favorite commands section and widgets for quick use.
I imagine installing this on a buddy's PC would be great to mess with them, but other than that I find setting things up "the old fashioned way" works best for me..
Tried everything including troubleshooting and still couldn't connect to my computer.
I use it to change monitor profiles from my living room, to enable/disable my primary screen mirror and change audio outputs. Now if I could have a widget to switch profiles with one press I'd be overwhelmed with joy.

It's a shame, this app doesn't work for me, and I don't know why, possibly because my PC is on a wired network while my tablet is obviously running on the Wi-Fi... but regardless I can't get the app to detect the monitor. Guess it's a good thing I don't need it
I use DisplayFusion Pro software, but I can't determine what this app is supposed to do. What address am I supposed to enter? Doesn't make sense.
I was to lazy to set it up but its probably good
If you could remotely control the mouse or even see the screen then that would be a useful function. Who really needs to control their wallpaper or move windows on their phone?
Thank you very much guys, working nicely, already a lot of very useful features. My only regret so far is the fact that it only seems to work in portrait mode, it makes sense on a phone, but with a tablet (especially a big one, I have a Galaxy Note Pro 12") it would be wonderful to be able to use the app in landscape mode too - not complaining, just a little request for the future :) )
I saw someone writing "amazing, I can now change my PC wallpaper from across the room from my phone"... wtf??? You're THAT lazy?? What's the point really of this app??
I launched the app but can't determine what one is supposed to do with it. What address am I supposed to enter? Doesn't make sense.
Such a well rounded app there is no point to it! At least not yet. It needs functionality people might need in a remote such as volume control or at least remote shutdown. only reason i think I'd use this app is simply to troll someone using my computer.
... But I'm not really sure why I'll need this. I'll be looking into the updates.
This has so much potential and works great as a starting point. Hope so hard it becomes a way to access my desktop while away.
Needs thing like ability to control the mouse precisely and adjust volume. Unless functions like that are added, its not very useful. If I am tweaking settings, I do it siting at computer, not on the couch.
this app SUCKS
Wow. This runs very well, hard to believe it's an initial beta release. A lot of this functionality I don't really see myself using, but the scripting has me *very* interested. Would like to see some functionality like adjusting volume (when I've walked away from my computer and music is blaring). Can't wait to see what becomes of this app!
I can now change the wallpaper on my desktop computer using my phone (MotoX) across the room from the desk! There is a 'Remote' section of the desktop program. You have to turn on the function by checking the box and click on Apply. Then, on your phone, hit refresh and it will find the desktop and ask for the security code which is listed just below the checkbox. Fill that in and bam! you are in business. There are tons of things you can do but I'm distracted by pretty pix right now.

This has got to be the very best app for controlling your monitors when you have both of the monitors being used with thing that your doing. When your playing a game and or watching you tube, using a chat program or whatever else you do with your other monitor it's nice to be able to open this app and use the endless options that it has without disturbing the programs your running. I am giving this app 5 stars because it's nice to have the options that this app has even if I may not ever use one or two of the options. Its still nice to have every option when I want it. Well done to the person or persons that made this app. Thank you for giving me all the greatness this app has to offer.
