Ultra Keyboard

Especially love the toolbar. All the functionality of of ULTRA is sorely needed on Windows 8 virtual keyboard for tablets. Why not have a go at this? It will catch on like wildfire!

This is still hands-down the most useful keyboard I've found. I can turn on arrow keys and a number row, and turn off predictive text and auto-correct. Nothing about this keyboard seems designed to slow me down. There are lots of settings to customize the functionality, and if I don't like something about the way it looks, I can probably change it using custom themes.

although this is an amazing app and I used to give it a 5 star plus I have been trying to get ahold of the developer for weeks now. The translate function does not work anymore and I can't figure out how to fix it. I'm also a developer and I would never consider leaving a Support question as a review but if you guys wouldn't mind getting me on Google+... You can do that through reviews on publish... Please help me get Translate working and BTW your website is DOWN!!!!! No way of contacting you?

For the last few phones over about 7 years I have tried multiple keyboards and for 7 years I always come back to this one. It is able to be changed in so many ways that it works best on every size screen I have had. If it isn't like you want from the store start to play with the unlimited setting.

Love the ability to move cursor up, down, left, right with the arrow keys. Swipe sometimes pauses but usually only happens the first word you type. Seems like it must take a few seconds to load the swipe feature.

There is such an improvement since theft least few years. I love the flow typing. The customizing options are great. The to bar is just right. wish I can get rid of the arrow keys. Couldn't find it in the settings

The text to speech button shows "no results " and I have to hit "try again quote". I like the menu keys at the top, and the arrow keys at the bottom. I haven't found any other keyboard apps with those functions. I've had this app for several years now, it has always been just a little buggy. I guess I'm just used to it. Overall, it's a great app for me.

I bought this keyboard, installed it on a different device, both using the same G+ account, it was fine at first, but now I keep ketting this message: " Not Licenced This application is not licenced for use. If you believe this is an error, make sure you are connected to the internet and click "Retry" Uninstall | Google play | Retry " Please help! Also, why do you need to use my micophone?

It's kind of difficult to expect what a change to a theme would be. It would be cool to change the editor so you can permanently see the keyboard while editing colors so you can get your theme just right. Also, is there a website to download pre-madde themes?

Not sure what recent changes have been made but it's making my phone go slowly and hang. Especially on apps which use the keyboard. Since switching off ultra keyboard my phone is a lot more responsive. I used to give me this app a 4 star

It's better then the rest of them on sprint sph-l710 updated to 4.3 but it does need to allow more coustimizing & the setting shouldn't be so scattered! would give it a solid 5 star's otherwise

Absolutely the best keyboard around. Waiting for the split layout, though! Not keeping up with the times - impossible to use on my new 12.2" screen. Also, the developer told me over two and a half years ago that a split layout was coming - I'm still waiting! No wonder sales are small.

Bloody excellent app, has been for years, just now I've encountered a couple glitches but I'm blaming uncle google & a phone update. Hopefully I'll sort it soon, because I'll miss this app if it doesn't work;)

But it rarely gets updates and suffers from terrible dictionary and prediction. Also, like many keyboards, no way to move the period which is in the worst spot when the .com autocomplete appears.

Just one thing. Show suggestions but dont accept them unless and until tapped on. Many people dont always use the perfect english vocabulary. There are jargons and short words that get misinterpreted and is annoying to redo the same while speed texting.

Like it alot before update!! Could be better.. after 6.0.1 update the suggestions no longer word after the space, cant edit spelling errors you have to retype the entire word.. ugh

I like this keyboard and would rate it higher if it didn't freeze so rag on much! So annoying

Not as intuitive as Suretype, but there are not many other choices out there. The prediction is not as good, and to punctuation can be chosen but not typed, so it takes more effort. Can't find other languages either. I tried the jellybean compact keyboard, and it also needs a bit of work. I hope this can be improved. In sure type, a number or punctuation can be typed by pressing a control or function key and the respective number or punctuation keys. Also to switch to a different keyboard is a pain.

There is no way to install your own language dictionary (it only has English) and it's impossible to enter in contact with developers. This problem makes the best keyboard useless.

It doesn't re-show suggestion word when cursor placed back on word, especially a skipped unfinished word.

The customer support used to be really good but I never get a reply now. And the spelling suggestions are probably the worst of any of the keyboard apps

I have used every keyboard from Swift to Smart, Go, and A.I. But, I am generally let down by the lack of adaptability. I speak and write in Spanish, Italian, Romansh, Portuguese, and I juggle South American dialects vs. the Continent... I stopped even looking at English only keyboards since the HTC Touch Pro came out with a physical qwerty keyboard & software for multi-lingual soft boards (even though they could hardly even work with the stylus. Still, once I saw it,I wanted it for every phone/tab/computer.

I would change some of the defaults and it takes a little while when you first start using it for it to figure out what you want.

Love this app, but I think it's about time to update and add emoji to the keyboard. I hate to switch keyboards just to add emojis. The one on this keyboard presently sucks. They hardly work on any social media. Update to current emojis please

Very convenient and easy to use. Love the built-in translator.

I have requested help in allowing more Emoji apps for Android Raze. No response. I have search settings to no avail. It would be 5 stars if these issues could be addressed.

I've been using this keyboard for almost six years. Since the first mytouch was out for T-Mobile!! Whenever I get a new phone it's the very first app I reinstall and set up before anything else!! Best usage, easy to add custom words, the compact t9 version is all I use on any of my phones!!! Only keyboard I like! The typing speed keeps up with me and there's not a lag like there is with the standard phone version or other apps! I need this app to function and use my phone! BEST KEYBOARD!!!

Needs backspace and delete keys.I I think I've tried them all. Ultra is the best and most customizable. If you would only provide both backspace and delete keys, I would be shouting from the rooftops about how great you are you are head and shoulders above the rest BUT you are still lacking these important features I don't know what else I can say you're great but.

You can even access your recent apps right from the keyboards toolbar. You never have to leave your screen or even your keyboard. But I can't, for the life of me, find how to add another dictionary besides the pre installed (English) language... I know where it's suppose to be, but there's nothing there to add ? :-!

I don't mind the ads as this is a great product given at no cost but the ad placement in the thread listing is a mistake and has a tendency to shift the thread order at inopportune times. Sending a text to the wrong thread is a possibility.

Not only does the translator not work. I can't even send a message to the developer because it's a maze of advertisements. Now I know why I pay for good apps and get good service. Can I pick no stars? **(UPDATE)** Still no translator. NEGATIVE TWO STARS NOW. more than ample enough time to fix or respond as to why it does not work since my last review. **(Update)** designer of app. No longer supports, that's why it's crap and don't work with translator anymore.

Update 2/14/2014: BAD WEATHER TODAY. Will BLACKLIST USELESS WORD SUGGESTIONS! Tired of keyboard notification & proper names in suggestions and stupid oddball and/or irregular word suggestions. Some, not even English. App still hangs too often, and predictive text sure comes up with some weird suggestions (not even words). Needs improvement. Would LOVE to keep the TAP button OPEN. Double tapping keys is annoying when TAP gets "stuck". Still better than most other keyboards, though.

I have been using the full version for six years now, and every feature works great. The ability to make customized layouts & colors enhances the visual recognition to your liking. Could use better emoji selection, otherwise perfect.

Great keyboard...confused at first when I enabled the compact mode but when I figured that out everything else fell into place. Swipes really well, better than swiftkey and excellent dictionary which is a plus because my spelling sucks. Also like the ability to customize configuration and the toolbar. Also appreciate the full word backspace. Only wish the keys were a tad larger.

I love that I am able to prepare my writings in another app and then select text and save it to the keyboards clipboard! Very helpful for the on line classes I teach. Very convenient and easy to use! Best keyboard out there!

Why have I got $ on keyboard and not £ on QWERTY 1st page. Also I can't figure out how to modify the long press function to bring up the key I want. Apart from those points it's a great keyboard & I can't understand why big companies don't make their keyboards like this!

Loved it,Used it..I want it,to have the Aspell or how about any dictionary??-New- Been working with Google & Dev,not sure yet if It's all for nothing,or,hopefully I can fix whatever person's feelings I hurt..I see others having similar problems with no Dictionaries, Apparently you can Make adjustments,but you can't share those adjustments with yourself..I respect Devs,try to follow rules,but I'm no thief..Keyboard is great,Dev fails to comment,but has helped via email.. I think?Or it was Google?

Enjoyed it thus far... I used swift for over a year, and changed to Ultra due to swiftkey draining my battery. In comparison, Ultra is not placing a drain on the battery. I know that swiftkey learned my swyping style as use of the program increased. As a result,I became more accurate, and therefore, faster. So far, I can't tell that this system is doing the same. However, I imagine that accuracy will increase with practice nevertheless. I like having the function row for copying, pasting, and personalizatio

Has everything. But ill tell you one thing, the " suggestions " function is pretty poor.

So... are you still alive developer? You think maybe you could wake up and possibly update this app sometime soon? It's been a year. Hint: Start by looking at some of the feedback we've all left. Thanks
