This is NOT a good app at all, much less for children. You can touch the instrument to make it play a single sound sample, but there is nothing that makes you WANT to. The info button brings up a text screen, no way to have the name of the instrument pronounced, sampled music & graphics are boring.

Very good Simple app for children.

How many babies can read let alone a full page of written history. This isnt for young children. This is aimed for children or adults that can read and is interested in basic history of each instrument.
