As a Financial Planner, a life insurance sales professional, undertakes medium term and long term planning for individuals and families. The cash and cover needs vary from person to person, family to family and from one stage in life to another stage. While a young family needs protection against lost of income caused by death/disability of the breadwinner; in old age, the same family requires old age income like pension in latter years. To take care of the budding aspirations of children, it is imperative to save. And save in a fail safe manner.
A financial planner's job is a serious business and meaningful planning requires quick and accurate calculations. Also to properly assess the need of planning and the benefits of life insurance, a lot of education is essential at the point of sale. Software works as a great enabler to the professional who can meaningfully apply his/her skills to accomplishing the sale.
Functionalities:
* Calculate Premiums
* Send calculated premiums by S.M.S.
* Prepare Single Plan Presentation
* Prepare Multi Plan Presentation
* Send the presentations by email
* Multi Plan Presentations have two parts (i) customer's copy and (ii) office copy (for agent)
* Premium calculation also does I.R.R. calculation.
* Premium calculation has Sum Assured as one of the bases. When the prospect does not spell out sum
assured, the software derives it from (i) premium / (ii) maturity amount.
* Name and age of prospects are saved for future use.
* Multi Plan Presentations (office copy) are saved for repeat use. Each multi plan presentation is given an
id.
* Quite detailed plan features are provided.
* Latest service charge has been provided.
This is a beta version. Users are requested to bring out suggestions for improvement/correction.
New Products plan code 836 and 837 have been added.
Latest policy Jeevan Pragati (code 838) has been incorporated.
There has been feed back that there should be option to use maturity proceeds of an endowment policy to buy pension plan (immediate annuity).
This has been done in the now latest version 9.

Version 10:
Feed back was received that multi plan presentation allows more than one policy to be taken on one life to satisfy more than one need of a person/family. Often, agents recommend policies on the lives of more than one member of a family. It has been suggested that a cost benefit chart covering multiple lives assured may be attempted. In the latest version (No. 10), it has been done.
It would now be possible to prepare (i) single plan presentation - on one life, (ii) multi plan presentation - on one life and (iii) then prepare a presentation combining more than one life.
An additional button has been provided. After making, single plan/multi plan presentations, when this button on the main page is clicked,a combined report covering more than one life can be generated. I would earnestly attempt to respond to feed back.
I believe the multi life presentation is intended more to have a view about the cash-in and cash-out from year to year.
Version 14: A new button has been added to enable use of Whatsapp for sharing premium details together with projected bonus/final additional bonus/loyalty addition and projected maturity amount.
Incidentally, Whatsapp now allows sharing of PDF also. the cost/benefit presentation can now be easily shared on Whatsapp.
The latest version (date:14-4-2016) has incorporated a new button whereby users can share important sayings about life insurance with their customers. This sharing has been made possible thru WhatsApp. The name of the button is 'Quotes'.
