HomeBeat for Android
It said my usage was thousands of dollars per month, which is just wrong. Not sure where they're getting their data. Uninstalling.
Looking to delete it to me it doesn't really help
I like to see how much hydro I use say to day and month to month. But, I don't feel my bill is high and this app makes me feel like I'm using was more than anyone in my neighborhood. I also wish I could just delete all of the notifications as I don't find them useful.
Not sure how to rate this app when it worked one day. Now it just says loading, loading, loading and more loading. Would be nice if the app designer could fix the problems. Will rerate when I can use the app for more than one day.
Downloaded because my utility suggested it. Only like that it gives me an idea what my bill will be at the end of the month. Getting really irritated by the constant lecturing that I'm using more electricity than my neghbours when it's just me and my wife and they're all families of 4 to 6 or like my next door neighbours who are students and leave the AC running with their windows open. Don't like constant notifications about time of use and I would like to clear them all at once.
I still have to check actual bill
3rd app i have tried of theirs where their signup is totally flawed. In this case, I cho8se country, enter postal code and 2 choices for utility companies pop up. I choose mine and... absolutely nothing happens. Ever. There is no Next or Continue button. Just sits there. Can't even close. Only choice is to force crash it and uninstall.
Couldn't find a way to disable notifications. Got tired of it going off at night when I forgot to silence my phone. Seriously disabling notifications is the most basic of functions for an app. Uninstall.
Installed on my tablet, opened it and it had four intro screens and wouldn't enter the app. Couldn't uninstall by dragging icon to uninstall icon, had to go into Google play to uninstall. Don't waste your time.
Was excited to use HomeBeat to monitor my PGE bills but oncen it authenticates with my PGE account it just gets stuck - even if I try to close it and open it again. So I uninstalled it. :-(
Doesn't recognize the Enrollment Code, so cannot use app. I see others are having same issue.
Layout is bad, information does match the providers website.
Can't stop this app from popping up when trying to log in.
Can not log in consistently.
Does not work for BC Hydro customers
Seems to be alright so far. I find the daily notifications of "it's peak time!" Really annoying and I can't find anywhere in the app to turn them off...that's about the only real complaint I have so far.
Says my credentials are incorrect. I know for a fact they are right. The idea of the application is something I would love to use. I don't understand how my hydro bill is so high all of a sudden. So I would like to see where it's being drained. Please fix so I can use this app.
I like too see how much hydro I'm using each day and compare my usage from various previous months.
Kept on saying my credentials were incorrect. They weren't. I had to force close the app, and even delete app cache, then finally worked. Once logged in, the app is OK. Does some forecasting, and even looks into the past. I guess it's handy to see your usage details. Logging into londonhydro website is always a PITA, as it doesn't work half the time with the browser I use. I also confirmed that when you close homebeat, it actually closes the process/service down instead of leaving it running like some other apps. I did notice that the app is kinda janky when moving through the screens. Also, data loads kinda slow. Not a huge deal tho. There is also a section that compares you hydro costs to your neighbours. Althought since I just installed the app, that section hasn't compared anything yet. It says that it will also itemize certain appliances once it detects them. Not sure how that is possible tho.
Get with the program people. When offering a program to customers, you should probably make sure they can log into it without issues first. Can't get past the login screen. Keeps saying "invalid credentials". I even force closes the app and cleared the cashe. Still the same.
Worked once. Won't load again.
Not working, this app doesn't accept my password but my password works when I try on my laptop
Says my credentials aren't correct even though I know they are
Not working for me asking me for things that make no sense
Signed in ok with London Hydro, email seemed to be case sensitive? Major error in the App. It's May 6th, and the app has the mid-peak and peak reversed for London Hydro. Get with the program guys!
I had no problems signing in. We will see how the pilot goes. :)
Wouldn't let me past the introduction screens. Contacted support and was told they don't support tablets at all. Should probably indicate that and /or prevent it from being installed on my device if you can't write proper apps.
When i put in my email amd password it says it may take a few minutes. That was over an hour ago and im still waiting. Uninstalling!!!
My user name and password are correct but it won't recognize the pge account.
Everytime I try to log in it won't let me. But then I can go online and log in fine... so please fix this
Nice enhanced UI.
Tried to login on website with mobile device. Get me directed to this. app but wont let me login.
This app will not allow me to log into my London Hydro account no matter what I do. Make sure an app works before releasing it.
Wouldnt authenticate login info

The app becomes useless in the past few months as it keeps alerting me that I used a few dozens times more than I actually used. I thought my digital meter was broken so I performed a few days of human reading and found out the app gave out false alerts and wrong usage information. Uninstall the app.
