La Biblioteca Nacional del Perú brinda un servicio de excelencia orientado al desarrollo cultural, investigación, científico y tecnológico a través de la administración eficiente y eficaz del patrimonio bibliográfico y documental, promueve la implementación y desarrollo de las bibliotecas en nuestro país, con personal altamente calificado y elevado compromiso social.

La Biblioteca Nacional del Perú es un Organismo Público Descentralizado del Sector Cultura con personería jurídica de derecho público interno. Tiene autonomía técnica, administrativa y económica, y actúa en concordancia con la política educativa y cultural que fija la Alta Dirección del Sector Cultura. The National Library of Peru provides an excellent service oriented culture, research, scientific and technological development through the efficient and effective management of bibliographic and documentary heritage, promote the implementation and development of libraries in our country, with highly qualified staff and high social commitment.

The National Library of Peru is a public agency of the Culture Sector with legal personality under public law. It has technical, administrative and financial autonomy, and act in accordance with the educational and cultural policy that secures the Senior Management Sector Culture.
