I know that every organization under the sun feels the need to have an app, but it does exactly the same as their website. This makes me to ask why I would want it. If I add it to my speed dial, it's just the same. Needless to say, I'm uninstalling it.

I have a Samsung core prime and this app did not work to slow I try scanner a book and then when I try searching something different this book show up I read some comments and this up is awful this does not ww from my experience I hold a book few the library someone went pick it up for me and say I never hold it .Just go to the Internet

Take screenshots when you renew books. It hasn't gotten fines taken off yet, but it proves that the app showed the books had been renewed.

This is a good App, however, lately I find that when I want to put a hold on an ebook, it says book not available . My lap top shows that the ebooks are available for hold or down load.

It let's me manage my books on my phone which is good. But why does it need my precise location? Especially bad since the GPS stays on even after exiting the app. Seriously needs to fix this GPS issue.

It's okay now since I can hold books. However, they have my card barcode so can I just use my phone to borrow books?

Doesn't work has a my bpl app at all. Won't give me my personal information. Just general info. It looks like it might not work well with Samsung products. Considering the various ages and cultures using this app, having any kind of help feature would help. Very disappointing!!!!

Another fine technological, though not very logical, example of NOT leaving well-enough alone. App sucks since update. All reviews are reporting this! What are they doing about it? Talk about OVERDUE!

Brilliant

It's handy for keeping track of my books and keeping my up to date.

It's great to be able to search the Brooklyn library and check out digital books on my device. It took a while for me to figure out, though. But I travel for work so I love the access to free digital books.

My app just upgraded to v2.7, and has suddenly started eating my battery at a greater rate than the entire Android OS. My guess is that this is the location feature. I'll have to uninstall the app until this is fixed. My other gripe is that the scanners in the library can't read the library card bar code on the screen of the phone, and when I take the books and the phone to the counter the librarian tells me I need to use the plastic card instead of the app. This seems to be missing the point -- fix the bar code readers. Two parents, one plastic card for the child's library books, having a bar code on the app is the solution, so it needs to be supported by the library's equipment.

I can't access any of the buttons. ..can't even log in or search for books on my s5. This is such useless app

This app was OK until the last update. I don't know what they did, but every screen takes FOREVER to load now, and when I access "My Borrowing" I have to refresh about 5 times before my info actually comes up. It's almost completely unusable for me right now. Edit: I am uninstalling the app. I seriously can't use it at all. Finally get info on "My Borrowing", go into "Active Holds" (for example), hit back, and then I have to wait 5 minutes AGAIN for my borrowing info. This is ridiculous.

Where is the option to log in? I have a galaxy s5.
