Sobre a Biblia Sagrada:
A Bíblia é o texto religioso de valor sagrado para o Cristianismo, em que a interpretação religiosa do motivo da existência do homem na Terra sob a perspectiva judaica é narrada por humanos. Os textos contidos nele sãos divinamente inspirados por Deus.
A Bíblia foi escrita por 40 autores, entre 1500 e 450 a.C. (livros do Antigo Testamento) e entre 45 e 90 d.C. (livros do Novo Testamento), totalizando um período de quase 1600 anos.

O apóstolo Paulo afirma que "toda a Escritura é inspirada por Deus" literalmente, "soprada por Deus", que é a tradução da palavra grega (2 Timóteo 3:16).
O apóstolo Pedro diz que "nenhuma profecia foi proferida pela vontade dos homens. Inspirados pelo Espírito Santo é que homens falaram em nome de Deus." (2 Pedro 1:21). O apóstolo Pedro atribui aos escritos de Paulo a mesma autoridade do Antigo Testamento: "E tende por salvação a longanimidade de nosso Senhor; como também o nosso amado irmão Paulo vos escreveu, segundo a sabedoria que lhe foi dada; falando disto, como em todas as suas epístolas, entre as quais há pontos difíceis de entender, que os indoutos e inconstantes torcem, e igualmente as outras Escrituras, para sua própria perdição" (2 Pedro 3:15-16).

The apostle Peter says that "no prophecy was uttered by the will of men. Inspired by the Holy Spirit that men spoke for God." (2 Peter 1:21). The apostle Peter gives to Paul's writings of the Old Testament the same authority: "And as salvation the longsuffering of our Lord, even as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, speaking of this, as in all his epistles, among which there are some things hard to understand, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction "(2 Peter 3: 15-16).
