Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church is “the growing church on Detroit’s eastside,” lead by Pastor James J. Minnick who is dedicated to the congregation’s spiritual growth and maturity in the Word of God. Mt. Pleasant has been a beacon in the community since 1948. The mission of the Mt. Pleasant Family is: To experience a true walk of FAITH in His Spirit, to learn and EDUCATE God’s people in the
full power of His word, to EQUIP them to grow in grace and know Christ personally and to become a faithful DISCIPLE of Him.
