ترجمة الكتاب المقدس إلى العربية تعود لمرحلة متقدمة من المرحلة الجاهليّة حسب الإشارات المعروفة. خلال القرن التاسع عشر والقرن العشرين ظهرت الترجمات الحديثة، بعد اكتشاف سلسلة مخطوطات قديمة وتطور علم الترجمة، ومقابلة الكلمات مع اللغة اليونانية القديمة العامة (باللاتينية: Koine). والقائمين على صياغتها يحاولون الوصول بالمفهوم الإلهي في أدق كلمات معاصرة وفى أحسن صورها الأدبية إلى القارئ مع مراعاة الترجمات الأخرى المألوفة للناس ويحاولون استخدام مفردات لغوية مفهومة من الجميع.
هذه الترجمة، التي نشرتها جمعية الكتاب المقدس في لبنان، ونشرت في عام 1993.

Bible translation of the Arabic language
Bible translation into Arabic dating an advanced stage of stage of ignorance by known signals. During the nineteenth century and the twentieth century modern translations appeared, after a series of ancient manuscripts and the evolution of science of translation discovery, and an interview with the words ancient Greek (Latin: Koine). And formulated based on trying to get more accurate concept of the divine in contemporary lyrics at best literary forms to the reader, taking into account other translations familiar to people and trying to use a vocabulary understood by everyone.
