I received the highest praise from my Romanian friend when I greeted her and used some phrases as we spoke. She was very impressed and this is a girl who is gently critical if I pronounce anything wrong. With this app I get only praise. Buy the full version and you won't go wrong

I had read somewhere that Romanian is spoken as it is written, very much similar to Hindi but after using this app knew that some letters of words remain silent like English. They should have been marked which is missing in the app. Also it is not easy to close the app.

And countryside pictures for that matter. We're not all peasants you know...

Double checked some of the phrases on Google translate and with a Romanian friend and loads of them were either missing words or say something different to what you're trying to learn.

Slow down the speaker and add phonetic spellings. Otherwise a great app.

Handy app for learning basic Romanian phrases.

Why is there a gipsy woman on a romanian dictionary? Its not roma language, its romanian.

I thought this language used lots of different accents. None of the words in this app show any accent marks. Are they not mandatory?

Need this when i go to visit my son, as his in-laws dont speak English. I love that its a normal voice (female ...bonus) as other translator apps sound robotic.

App won't close and for some reason it opens youtube and slows my Note 3 down to a crawl.

You used a gypsy women picture as romanian? Do your research first.

This app is incredible useful. I have installed it by curiosity (as I am Romanian and I don't need any translation [hopefully]), but if I were a stranger wanting to learn the basics, or if I were a tourist, I would've totally bought the full app. The author was so smart, I couldn't have thought of a brilliant app like that; the idea behind it is amazing. Kudos to the developer(s).
