BHN WiFi Finder

It would be even better if you could use the hotspots and not just see where their at! Maybe you can get that taken care of? Would be nice.

Seldom (ONCE in 15 trys) found a useable site while waiting for my wife shop. Doesn't NOT work, but not very helpful.

Constant WiFi drops. I might have a full signal, but won't connect to it. When I finally get on, it works for a few minutes then drops signal. Then hard time getting back online. Typical brighthouse quality. Can't wait to see "Jim" and his van so I can tell him to fix this crappy service they love so much. If this is the service they approve of, then Comcast needs to take over this territory. There's no need to contact you for help. Your not going to replace your WAPS everywhere around town.

Can be sitting in a parking lot of even my driveway and half the time it still don't connect causing me to use my data

It keeps asking me to update but when I try it acts like it is updating but never does... It just ties up my phone for hours and does nothing

I have a Pixel XL and use Google Fi as my provider but after a dozen calls and a visit to the Bright house office I have found nobody that can connect me to their so called free service. It used to work when I had a Droid and was with Verizon, but it doesn't work at all even with a wi-fi only tablet without 3G/4G standing in their office. I took both so when they tried to say it was my device I could show them. Honestly they were all trying to be helpful and promised to call me back but I haven't heard back.

I only really used the app a few times back when I didn't have a good data plan. The permissions don't seem intrusive, so that's not a worry. But my phone has limited storage for apps, so no reason to keep this one.

This app is difficult to use. While it will find the hotspots closes to you, you cannot connect to either of them. Maybe I just do not know how to use it but it should not be this difficult to find out how. I tried tech support but it did not help. Because of this I will give it one star.

It seems that the secure login should be simplified and app based. Also,why not log into app with BHN credentials and then you are automatically logged into all BHN wifi spots. Don't need an app to let me know BHN wifi is available.

I am not smart enough to use this app, after installing it. The instructions don't fit what I see. I rate this a "one" because that is the lowest available.

Sure is useful where I live, not many hotspots around but with the app I can find them.

This is what you call progresses? The old app would install the profile automatically, on this one you need a computer degree to get it going!

As a non bright house customer it is really difficult to get on their wifi. . . Most every business gets this right but bright house does not. When you are a bright house customer and you have the apps etc, it should be no problem connecting and I have had good results with it so far . . . I may edit this again if I see continued good results.

The BHNsecure profile it installed or the app itself changed the cellular APN of my husband's OnePlus One, so when he wasn't at a BHNsecure hot spot he had no cellular internet what so ever. We had to pack up after sitting down at a restaurant and realizing this, we couldn't access the gift certificate so we had to leave and come all the way back home. So here we are trying to get this all sorted out :

Recently installed app. Shows that I have Wi-Fi connection but when I try to load a page it says error. Have experienced this many times. Kind of disappointed with Brighthouse when it says you could connect to Wi-Fi for free if you are a customer

This goes by address not exact location so if you are near a mall or shopping center it tells you that there are 50 to 100 wifi hotspot in range. When they are just at the same address as you... Now in smaller towns it is better it puts the hotspot dot on the sidewalk in front of the shops so it is about 80% for that reason. Sometimes I can't connect even though I had full strength signal and was less than 50 feet from AP. I think they should fix the location of the outdoor hotspot so at least u know where.

App only locates hotspot and nothing else. Time Warner WiFi app will help you to login. Wish this one did and also wish had more wifi hotspots that were not local business but real hotspots.

Cannot see the hot spot without Internet connection. If I am already connected what is the point of the hot spot. I cannot connect to the hot spot using brighthouse login. I cannot connect to the hot spot unless I am in their building and have their login credentials. This is not helpful when I am remote unless I had intended to so to that building. I thought the hotspots were like cell towers and I would automatically connect to the closest one.

Finds plenty of hot spots but I cannot get internet access at any of them. Installed the BHN secure profile, double checked all of the settings. I'm better off on mobile data, at least it works.

Me and my family are very disappointed been customers for years try not to use our data save money because of updates so we try to use cable Wi-Fi and bright house Wi-Fi hotspots not working very disappointing

traveled from alabama to Florida over thanksgiving holiday could not connect to anything on my android. call technical service but they were no help.

First Impression not so hot. This really does not seem to add any useful hotspots. Stopping at a Starbucks or McDonald's always seem more convenient and I already know where they are located without the app.

Awesome I don't need to be searching anymore I just use the app. If you have a sucky phone and terrible GPS check your provider because the app works perfect. Great when I lose signal and my phone uses WiFi connection to place calls.

Ok Bright House how can i connect or automatically connect to the WiFi spots? All this is to me is a WiFi locator that is all nothing more.

Love this app! There is so many places all over town that my home WiFi account picks right up, so no data!!!

Really great. It's like magic to this 74 yo lady, that tv can just fly thru the air 2 my phone. I remember when Dick Tracy's "wrist radio" was just sci Fi.

It's only as good as BrightHouse is. Doesn't really help when I need it and even when I know there is BrightHouse available.

If I could ever get it working I'm sure it's great. I know that it's something I've been doing wrong. It's just irritating and should be more user friendly.

I don't have phone service but my phone makes WiFi calling hence bright house keeps me 85 percent of the time connected to make and receive calls saves me 720 a year in phone bills ;)
