Notification Reader: Shouter

Works alot better than other notification apps. When you get email it will actually read the title and message, my other app would just say "you got gmail from....". Reads our caller ID by contact name if in your contacts list, just wish it would announce thru my bluetooth. This is a keeper.

Simply superbbb, but only one bug is there. I have 13 numbers of notifying apps. So notification came one by one suddenly. So shouter can't say all notification. It starts for 1st notify but when 2nd notification came it stops the 1st notification. It's continue to there after also like this... So it's a bug

It doesn't read messages from what's app messages. Reads only the group name and time. Rubbish. This is the only reason I wanted the app for as my phone can already do text notifications.

Well, I think I have it working. But it sometimes announces "unknown number" when it is one of the numbers for my contact. Better instructions are needed to make sure all your settings are correct. At first it wasn't working and I'm not even sure how I got it to work.

make it fully free plzz because i don't like to use net banking or i have have no any redeem code and in play store thier is nothing any system to pay via sim balance soo plzzz sir

Handy app that keeps getting better. There's great potential for what you can do with this app especially as Android devices are more common in the car with hands free driving. Keep up the good work.

this app is nice and very useful. only the incoming calls is my problem. wont work when bluetooth headset connected. pls fix that and Ill get the pro version kudos to developer

Time notifications sms and charger status are given but it doesn't work on incoming calls. Please fix that issue

Not available app announcing option in Android 4.1 & 4.2 & lower ver. Its not helpful for blind people. Smart announcer is better from this. It provide app announcing feature in all android ver.

Great app, thinking of upgrading to pro version. CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO ONLY PLAY OVER BLUETOOTH, if that's same as headset setting. Great u can change speed. Love it reads texts with sender name in addition to phone's own sounds. Occasionally duplicates reading or app in list of apps. ------ Currently trying their other location app, but again, that also needs tutorial. COULD BE MORE USER FRIENDLY & INTUITIVE. MORE INSTRUCTIONS OR A TUTORIAL

I bought a Zmodo beam but the Zmodo app only sends a simple alert when the sensors are activated. "Shout" allows me to customize a speach alert (really gets my attention) without which the Zmodo is useless. Thanks guys. Reallly great job.

Mas não fala o conteúdo da mensagem (WhatsApp). Update WhatsApp message contet will not be read. Only Sender and Group. With Skype, Facebook etc. messages are read completely; Is this a WhatsApp problem ? Gostei que tem opções para modificar os textos das mensagens.

Nice to hear what's going on instead of trying to remember beeps and tone notifications. Plus I don't have to look at the phone as much. Thakx :)

But these are some problems it's not working incoming calls please please please please please please please please please please help me my phone is lyf wind 1.so you trying to do this my problem solve thanks

1. Option to only shout out if connected to the car Bluetooth and 2. An icon in the notification bar for easy switching

I love this app. I downloaded it for myself to test out for my dad who has lost his sight. With in a day I downloaded it on my dad's phone too. It has given him some independence back and be can now use his phone again. What a great app! Thank you so much for creating this!

The app worked well for a while, then went glichy on me. It started to repeat announcements over and over which got annoying very quickly. I hope they fix it, I really found it useful

Needs an option to delay speech (½ second, 1 second etc). Many app notifications come with an audible alert; this clashes with the beginning of the verbal announcement.

Hear notifications in clear British or US male or female voice, can also vocalize calls, time, ect. Very good.

Great app, I like the headphone feature, but on my phone with 7.1 nougat, the app ended up completely freezing my phone about a minute after the phone booted up. I was about to to a factory reset but luckily I was able to uninstall this app. Please fix this.

It's awesome. Tho there's a problem with the custom message. It mentions the app name twice on announcement

Looks great so far ... would like to see an update in the future that would allow greater flexibility of what is announced (example: announce name when no headphone connected, announce name and read message when headphone connected -wired/bluetooth)

Seemed a little random so after few week of having this i went through every setting and now this is super helpful and can be amusing if you deliberately set custom shouts for specific times when you know you'll be in a meeting or out with mates

It is to good while driving and very help full app and while having food but it's dangerous while texting in personal

Not work all time. Sometimes this app not work at all. I have to clik app then it will work again.

Having tried other software this is definitely the best and the voice is great only issues although it doesn't bother me when I get an email it says I have one but it doesn't read them, and same with whatsapp.. s7 edge.

This app should know the difference between "ate"(past tense of eat) and "Ate" ( /ah:teh/ )commonly used Tagalog word for older Sister,Aquintances or whoever women older than them before their Nicknames as Filipinos are widely used the word in their contact lists.

Dont download without being ready to set up your settings, 1st time it went off scared the sh×t outta me. Sounded like skynet was invading my phone. (Terminator reference)

The battery and charging status not working properly in my device. It always shouts out 0% backup left

Not very reliable. Only works 50% of the time. Gonna try some others before I uninstall.

The controls are good and serve my purpose when I've my headphones plugged. Can you guys please provide more controls so we can also use it while driving?

Works sometimes. I am running the latest update it on Android Lollipop 5.1, 1st gen Moto G and only use it to notify on calendar events, nothing else. I have set it to not repeat messages, but it sometimes does. Sometimes it gives a message for an event that happen in 1/2 hour, even though an event is not scheduled at that time, the event it notifies of is scheduled sometime within the next hour. If not for this glitch I would give it 5 stars.

Very cool app. I wanted something like this so that I know if a text message or notification is from someone important without having to look at the screen. This app works exactly as intended. Only problem is it mispronounces some names but that's a minor and sometimes funny issue

This is so useful you'll wonder how you ever got along without it! This app should be standard software in all Androids based smart phones. I review tons of apps and I don't hold back when they suck. So if I'm impressed by something you can bet the bank that it's dang awesome! So many setting and features. I won't spoil it, just get it now and try it yourself! This is definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!

Feedback -2: It makes my system Vol. lower so sometimes I cannot hear The announcement bcoz, my all vol.. are the system Vol. Feedback -1: But it has a problem with sms announcement ... I install this app again n again free & pro both of them, but it can't announce the sms sender name correctly if I got a unknown sms it announce any Name from my saved contacts list randomly. So I have to use a another app with it(shouter) for Sms announcement. Plz fix this boring problem !!!!

1. Would like option of an attention sample to be played prior to TTS output; 2. Some tick boxes for options cannot be toggled [read message text when screen off will not disable]; 9/10!¡ Edit: Takes several presses of volume key to shut the shouter up... Annoying to say the least.

I love this app. I have hearing loss in both ears. Not always will i hear my cell ring. With shouter app it announces incoming calls and if it is from my list of contacts it will announce their name as well " incoming call from ×÷*!.." so i will hear and know its an incoming call. I dont miss calls anymore due to my hearing loss with this app.....
