All funds and NAVs are taken daily from this URL: http://portal.amfiindia.com/spages/NAV1.txt
Unfortunately, because there's no publicly accessible database of updated mutual fund NAVs, I have to download ALL the mutual funds from a text file somewhere. It's approx 1 MB. Once it's downloaded, I have to process it to update the database. As long as I can't find a better data source, this is the only way I know how to do it...sorry!
The scheduled time is also approx because I've allowed the device to change it depending on battery consumption and when other tasks need to be performed. This is less resource intensive. But this behavior can be changed if you guys feel a strict time update is important.
Note, this app will only show your most recent net worth. It doesn't allow you to enter the purchase price or show you historical stats. This is by design since there's no historical API that is public and free.
P.S: This is my first Android app, so please try not to throw your rotten tomatoes too hard :)

Found the app to be helpful to provide NAV and value of portfolio. Can you add IDFC Premier equity fund regular Growth plan to the schemes.

It is one of the most useful applications. But it does not allow to add a few mutual funds when I downloaded it afresh now in new mobile. In my older mobile these funds stand added and is calculating NAV at present also. Is it a bug. Funds eg. IDFC Equity Fund-RegularPlan-Growth and Reliance Mid & Small Cap Fund-Growth Plan-Growth Option.

Very good to those who just want to know the NAV. Despite last update in 2013, 50 k doenloads. Easy and simple to handle. Fund details, snapshot, performance etc cannot be monitored. PLEASE FIX SORTING OF FUNDS. (Viz.A -Z) The present order is first entered, appears first.

This app is good to get nav of all mutual funds at one place at once everyday. Once you add your schemes it updates in no time. Please add UTI MEPUS scheme. I did not find it. Thanks.

It's good app but still need some add ons. I think there should also be the option of nav purchased and %age of gain and loss. But still it's a good app. Easy and very simple to use. Thanks "Davinder"

The button for rating is very dark colour and cant even read the text also upgrade for next level for automatically sip addition n reminder n stop loss alarms etc

The basics of this app are good but 1. All indian funds are not in the list 2. You cannot know the nav of your fund is going up or down and by what percentage 3. SIP Return is missing

I would like to see the gain/loss also as a percentage of the investment. Also, there is no option to select for the dividend reinvestment in current app.

At a single click we can get all information of all funds. More option can be added like dividend history etc

Not able to add birla sun life tax relief 96 g growth fund... whereas i am able to see direct fund of this.please add this fund too in list...

More things like purchase value n dates can be incorporated. Day to day n week to week changes can be very helpfull.seperate SIP needs to be included with dates.
