Discover America in the UAE

Discover America is a public-private partnership conceived and inspired by the U.S. Commercial Service, the US Government’s front-line trade promotion agency. This app serves as a quick and convenient way for those interested to attend and learn more about specific events taking place during the month of October and beyond in the UAE. The app will also supply content on US-UAE commercial, educational and cultural events taking place throughout the year. The target audience includes residents of the UAE who have an interest in American commerce, culture and technology across several sectors: education, health, hospitality, entertainment, food, business, defense, and space to name a few. Specifically, target audiences include UAE-based students interested in pursuing studies in America; the business community, for whom a series of technical workshops and networking events has been coordinated; and the general public, for whom content on retail and other promotions will be most relevant. The app includes: information on October 2016 events; future programming for US-UAE companies, universities, and organizations that seek greater participation from people in the UAE for their products and services; special promotions on American brands at retail outlets in the UAE; links to key platforms to highlight U.S. education opportunities (US college entrance exams, US Department of State exchange programs, US visa applications and other resources of interest to UAE Government and general populations).
