I have the pro version, but hadn't installed it on one device. I saw l wasn't protected between 8pm-10pm, and thought wow, that's low class.No notice, not even a notification so l wouldn't have an open mic for 2 hours.. l hope their camera app isn't the same way.I'm supporting that as well...

I have had the pro version installed for a while now without issue. Now however, with the latest os upgrade to Android 7.0, the phone is blocked too. With each incoming call I have to fumble to unlock the phone then to disable the app by which time the call is gone. I have contacted the developer multiple times with no response.

Seems to block most apps try and to use mic. But..cannot turn off the time limit so if set off it reblocks even when you don't want it to and you must turn off again . If you open app directly rather than quick start icon it seems to ignore the time limit .

Update.. with Microphone Block enabled on my Motorola phone that is using the Moto app for voice recognition (similar to the OK Google app) while the phone is on the lock screen I can say OK MotoX and the mic recognizes this and opens the Moto app. It does not do this when the phone is unlocked, and I have to manually unblock the mic for the Moto app to recognize OK MotoX. So somehow with the phone locked the Moto app does not recognize this Mic block app is enabled and the mic still works. So if someone is spying on you maybe they can access the mic through this Moto program while the phone is locked. I guess I could disable the Moto app but I don't see why it should not work. This probably only occurs for Motorola phones using the Moto App voice function. Will up the rating when this is fixed. Please consider checking this.

I have bought your cam and mic apps.When I open MIC app and go in notification launcher setts and tune 2 allowed apps they appear in the v4 android's scroll down menu.The very strange thing is that 2 allowed apps by CAM app disappear!!!(there is only 1 string with the name of CAM app)Why does it happens so ?)And vice versa(when I go to CAM app and tune 2 apps there only 1 string with MIC app in scroll down menu). Can you make so that in scroll down menu one can see both notif.for cam and mic apps simultan.?

The "Automatic blocking" preference is missing the total turn off. I want to be able to completely turn off this feature. Currently it has 5, 10, 15, and 20 minutes timeout however, it misses the complete shut off option which exists on your free version of the app. I already paid for the app, so please fix this because it's too annoying for me. I contacted you by email but I haven't received a reply. Will give it 5 stars after the fix. Thanks.

Very simple and effective way to protect your privacy. Everyone should have this protect at the minimum. People have NO IDEA what government agencies, thieves, identity thieves, and many others have the ability to do. Protect yourself please don't become a victim. Some phones don't even allow you to remove the battery and even the ones that do have a tiny backup to power your mic. Thank you guys for helping keep our private life private!

They refuse to update their software to fix an awful bug. Basically, the app fails to realize when you're making a phone call and it doesn't stop blocking. A paranoid person buys this app. You'll eventually become paranoid at the beginning of EVERY conversation on whether the person can hear you. Instead of greeting the person with, "hello, this is BLAH BLAH", it'll be "Can you hear me?" This bug is so devastating by itself that they've earned this one star. FIX this bug and your app would be perfect.

Edit: looks like the problem below has been address. Changed from 3* to 5*. Thanks I want to love this app, however, on my Galaxy Note 5 blocking the mic only works to block the mic once and then I have to turn Mic Block off and back on again for it work. It's a bit of a pain. Is there any fix for Note 5 coming?

I have contacted developers indicating an error on Android 7.0 that Microphone Block locks the microphone in Phone app so calls cannot be taken. Absolutely no response. EDIT: After 2 times app locked itself I was forced to uninstall it. Will follow up with Google people to take this app down from the PlayStore. EDIT2: even after updates Microphone Block still locks phone app. That's ridiculous. Developers should consider a career in industry where they don't t have contact with customers.
