Login does not work the same as online. Very frustrating.

UPDATED DEC 11, 2017: thanks for the reply to my comment despite it taking over three months. I have since updated to Android Oreo 8.1 and the app now works and I have revised my rating for it. Original comment from sept, 2017: Doesn't work with Android 7 nougat. Gives an error message that the user name or password is invalid. Same user name and password work everywhere else including the same app on my Nexus 5 running Marshmallow. To add insult to injury, the developer email here in Google play bounces back as rejected.

App it self is alright but finer details are annoying. Needs some good internal makeover. Problem #1 - When I make reservations, the date automatically sets to NEXT date . This happened twice. This is very annoying and could cause some bit potential problems. After setting today's date, I check different BW properties and when I go back to look at other BW hotel, apparently date resets to the next date. Very stupid. Problem #2 - it doesn't save credit card info. It's super annoying (espeically on phone!) to enter credit card info manually every time I try to book a room.

Can't log in. Even tried password reset. Can log in with browser so it's not user error.

App is ok when it works. Just tried to redeem points for a gift card and it just "hangs". Spinning circle like it is thinking over and over. Does this often.

Doesn't work ... trying to search in La Grande OR keeps showing hotels near Tillamook, OR.

Frustrating. Closes on itself too much and won't seem to keep you logged in on your device.

'reservation details not available' What's the point?

Earlier versions of the app worked well. Used it late last year on a two month road trip and was good. Now many motels in the search results don't show rooms, even though there appear to be rooms available on the BW website. No way to redeem points for a room that I can find. Redeemed points earlier this year using an previous version of the app and worked fine. Seems like a big leap backwards.

After update I get nothing when it comes to choose a room. And cannot use my reward points to book a room anymore!?

App will not allow the selection of rooms and when you select rates the app freezes and nothing happens. Fix this issue please!

This app was great .. done with BW because of the app. Was loyal before but they don't seem to care.

This app would not accept my password. The website works fine. The app does not.

Everything about the app works fine until it is time to select a room, which seems to be broken. The app is of little use if I can't actually book a hotel room with it.

Doesn't appear to work anymore for reservations in the Channel Islands. I can't select a room, or operate on existing reservations

It still freezes quite often. Please fix this.

Won't even let me sign in. I can sign in on the website but not in the app????

App won't open either on Samsung s7 or tab 2 device.

Useless

Poor app compared to others also BW chain Australia has more motels leaving than joining making it harder to find motels on trips between capital cities. Got to use another chain now whos app is far better. BW Australia nothing like overseas.

Absolute GARBAGE - don't waste time trying to get it to accept your UID/xword. ZERO stars if I could, wasted an hour changing passwords, trying all the tricks....NOTHING works. UID and password ARE CORRECT

A three star rating is probably generous. It is useful for finding out what hotels are available in the area you are searching. From then on your best on your own. Very disappointing app. For an organisation as large as Best Western. Ron Cook

The app won't recognize my log in info at all. On the website I changed my password however I have to get a comp generated pass to log in every time. Apps no good. Might as well just use Google and call the motels main #

The app has always had a lot of bugs such as wanting to populate the wrong address and causing problems when using a billing address different than guest address. The search function also has issues especially when using the map. Recently it tells me that I have attempted to perform a restricted operation and as such I have been blocked from the app and need to call Best Western to gain access. If you keep refreshing you can get through a couple of screens but when you try to pay it says card not valid. I have now continued to use the app a year later and still running into bugs. The most recent is when I go to book a room it will not show any rooms available. However when I go to the full site it shows plenty of rooms for the same hotel and date. Keep this up BW. I have booked many rooms with other chains because of this flaw. As big a business as you are you need to spend the IT dollars and get it right.

Not that great. Flips you to the website quite a bit so whats the point of using the app

Junk cannot login to check reward points or reservations. Sent email never got a response. Updated 5-14-17 still cannot login

Unable to log in. Tried both email and rewards, reset password and was still unable to gain access.

The entire time I owned this app, I tried to retrieve my reservation details and the feature would error out.

Something happened to this app when they updated it. Used to work fine but now a window appears for the privacy and terms with nowhere to agree and no way to get out of it to select a room.

To many bugs, available rooms don't show up in search

When I get to the point of selecting a room, none show up to choose from.....useless.

App used to work great but does not even load now. Been a few months. Must go to website now.

Loses a star for not being SD card compatible.

Would be better​ if when using​ the app you could see the rates for breakfast as well, and even make a booking Inc breakfast. Please sort this out.
