聖鮑思高傳 Don Bosco (3)

經過多番的延誤後，「聖鮑思高傳」第三冊終於能與讀者見面，本人深感欣慰。延誤的原因是多方面的，除了本人的工作較繁忙外，也在整理資料方面出現了困難，因為這段時期正值聖鮑思高事業的巔峰，資料複雜繁多，取捨不易。

第三冊所覆蓋的範圍，可說是慶禮院的黃金時代，有許多聖德的少年，如聖道明、沙維豪，彌格、馬高鼐，方濟、貝素高等，都在這個時期大放異彩，在聖鮑思高的聖德花圃裡爭艷鬥麗。

我們且引述聖鮑思高生平資料的蒐集者、包迺底神父所說的話：「那個真可說是慶禮院的黃金時代，即使在學生中，也有許多十分聖善的青年，他們像道明、沙維豪那樣，在我們中重演他那奇妙而超性的事蹟。同學們都像兄弟般彼此相愛，避免爭吵、衝突和打架。大家一心一意地去愛慕天主和安慰鮑思高神父。

大家都很努力保持良好的操行，以致在週末公開宣讀操行分數時，很少有人得到九分的，因為大家都堪當得到十分。換句話說，無論在熱心神工、學業或遊戲等方面，大家都是無可指摘的。九分只是表示一種不大完善的操行，但已被視作一種奇恥大辱，當一個學生由於輕佻而非由於惡意而得到那個分數時，就會因此流淚痛哭。通常在整個學年中，再也不會得到那個分數了。」

這些都可說是聖鮑思高教育的成果，也是他個人聖德的表現，天主為了表揚他的聖德和肯定他的教育法，特地賜給他各樣奇恩異寵，如預知未來，透視人心，治愈疾病，施行奇蹟等等。而且此種恩寵，不但他本人享有，連他的神子、甚至學生也能分享，正如大家可從本書中看到的。以致在華道角的慶禮院裡，超性的事已幾乎變成了本性的事，不尋常的事已變成了尋常的事了；這在教會的歷史中確是十分罕見的。

教會也確認了慈幼會的此種聖德，迄今已被冊封為聖人的，除了會祖聖若望、鮑思高外，還有協助他創立母佑會的聖女瑪利亞、瑪沙利羅，他的學生聖道明、沙維豪，他的首位繼承人真福盧華神父，他的第三任繼承人真福李納德神父，首批來華傳教的殉道烈士真福雷嗚道主教和高惠黎神父，以及母佑會修女真福莫蘭諾和學生真福衛冠納。至於天主忠僕和可敬，則為數更多。另外要指出的，就是聖鮑思高的母親，媽媽麗達的列品手續也於去年展開了，希望不久的將來，我們也能看到她登上祭台，接受人們的景仰和恭敬了。

但願這種慈幼聖德的種子，也能在中華大地上發芽滋長，開花結果！　

本書的編排和格式與「聖鮑思高傳」第一、第二冊基本相同，由於首次採用電腦編排，字體及印刷方面可能略有差異。全書共分六十一章，敘述了一八五五至一八六四年前後共十年的聖人生平事跡。綜觀三冊「聖鮑思高傳」的內容，我們已敘述了聖人大部份的生平，餘下的事跡，我們將會在最後一冊，即第四冊中向各位介紹，希望各位繼續以祈禱支持，俾能早日完成此項艱鉅的工作。

本書承蒙林時晴神父和已故蕭希哲神父協助整理資料，並蒙陳興翼神父撥冗校對譯稿，特此衷心致謝。

謹將本書獻給進教之佑聖母，她是慈幼會真正的創辦人，希望她像過去一樣，繼續庇祐教會和慈幼大家庭。
