Better YouMail

This is a terrific app that makes YouMail more user friendly. It would be nice if we could change how contacts are sorted/displayed. For example, I'd like to sort & display by first name instead of last name. But that's a minor not pick.

Loving it! Deff worth the money

Great app. I'm not even a paid version. I emailed customer supportk and they got back to me within 10 minutes. They are responsive. Not even a canned response totally live support and feedback. I've never seen this before... Most impressive Actually fixed my connection issue. I was thoroughly impressed with the support especially since I am only using the free version.

To anyone having trouble signing up: you need to make sure that if you already have an original YouMail account, the password isn't too complex. I changed mine to a numeric pin (must be 8-50 characters for original YouMail). That solved the problem of not being able to sign in. As for the app, everything is great so far. Thank you for adding sweet, sweet visual voicemail back into my life.

This is a waaaaay better UI integration for YouMail. Still one suggestion: editing timeline functionality for messages. If I want to add an away greeting it's super annoying to have to go back in and change it when I return. Just a thought.

I loved the ability to see the length of each message, as well as read a transcript of them instead of "suffering" through listening to them, but I've decided I'd rather have my primary mail app notifications work the way they were prior to install. I noticed that the refund button has been replaced with "uninstall"... how do I get a refund now? Thanks!

After I paid for the app, I couldn't sign up. It kept giving me error. Couldn't even get a refund.

Paid and a error pops up that it can't verify license. Waste of money. Also, I'm not connected to WiFi or use Comcast. Fix the dam app, others complaining about this too!!!!!

Mine isnt connecting to the server. Is there a problem? I have used it for several years.

after last update I can't share my voicemails anymore. it says "unable to attach file". wonder if this will get fixed as this was the main reason I bought this app.

I'm currently with Consumer Cellular and wondering if there is a way to use this app? It's not listed in your carriers during set up.

The app only accepts pins but the service requires a password.

I was having problems with wakelocks and YouMail. This app now allows my phone to sleep thus significantly increasing battery life. Also, I love all the options. And the developers keep improving the experience. Thanks!

This app is fabulous! If you believe that your service provider should not be serving you ads by default, then this is a great way to eliminate that aspect. I have tried many ways around the native app, short of rooting, and this app exceeds my expectations.

Good app. Last week began getting several notices that my mailbox we full. It's not though. Might need to find a new VM app. Also the alert chimes any time I open a Vmsg. Regardless of if it's open or unopened. That is annoying. Might need to get a new vm app.

This is scam: Do NOT buy this app if you have an Android. I purchased it and everything in this description leads you to believe transcription is available. After 20 messages I got an alert saying my "free" transcription service had ended and to upgrade my account. I contacted customer service and the response was this happens to some Android users and they don't know why. If I want the transcription service it will cost $9.99 USD per month. No where in the description of this app, during installation, or during setup does it explain you have limited transcription or anything is limited. For the price of the app you are supposed to have full function.

This is a great voicemail app. I don't think any other app will ever replace it. My only complaint is that it has too many features. It's going to take time to play with this app.

WELL BEFORE DOWNLOADING THIS APP I HAD YOU MAIL THE ORGINAL APP AND IT WAS MUCH EASIER TO GET AROUND INSIDE. YOU COULD GET TO THE COMMUNITY OKF GREETINGS EASILY AND THIS PAI APP IS A LITTLE MORE HARDER TO DO THAT. This is a great app I have a Samsung S8 plus unlocked with Verizon didn't have Visual Voicemail capability so I bought this and it works fantastic great work

Unbelievably good Visual Voice Mail YouMail app. Beautifully designed and fully functional. Much, much better than the native YouMail app. YouMail can be used for free in place of ATT Visual Voice Mail.

Great app.. have been using since I signed up with youmail 3 years ago. Feature request, reminder tab, to remind me to return a call at the time that the clients request. Calander is great, but too time consuming, and on other app.. I would love to have it all on this app. Hopefully you can make this happen :)

Disappointed. Went back to the regular YouMail app because Better YouMail only plays audio through the device's speaker. No area in the settings has an option to play audio only from the handset.

This app is awesome -- it is the only app I've found that integrates seamlessly with the call log on Samsung Galaxy devices on Marshmallow! That alone is huge, but this app also has the best customer support of any product I've ever purchased, hands down. When I had an issue with the app, the developers wrote me back an individualized response within hours, and even compiled a modified test build for me to see if it fixed the problem. Never seen anything like that before! These guys deserve your support, and this app is worth way more than they price they're charging for it!

Attentive programmers who really care about their product and make it feature rich is what we have here. Running as a replacement Youmail app for years on multiple devices, it runs without trouble and has become an essential business communication tool. I did subscribe (pay) to Youmail for voice to text translation and it's a must have feature. People are amazed when I can read the text output of my voicemail messages seconds after the missed call. You do not need the Youmail app installed on your device.

Hoped this would reduce the Youmail battery drain but it does not. My biggest battery drain is youmail by far. It's really not worth using youmail.

Using almost 25 percent of my battery during the day. More of a juice hog the the actual OS

The app stops working even when I am not using it. This happened right after latest update. It was working great before. I have paid for this version and I am using Alcatel Idol4.

Voicemail tab will not show in phone app. Nexus 6p running 7.0. would have never bought it had I known it would not integrate with phone app. Edit: 9/9/16 this issue has been fixed. Best visual voicemail app in the playstore hands down. Well worth the money. Thank you developers for being very quick at resolving my issue. Grade A customer support in my opinion.
