Valhalla Golf Club for Android
Valhalla is the great hall of immortality in Norse mythology, the final resting place for heroes. In the world of golf, Valhalla has achieved similar status, playing host to the 78th and 82nd PGA Championships, the 65th Senior PGA Championship and the 37th Ryder Cup. The Gahm family (pronounced Game) enlisted Jack Nicklaus to design the course and construction began in 1984. In 1993, the Gahm family and the PGA of America formed a partnership allowing the PGA to eventually take ownership, which it did in 2000. Valhalla is no longer just a mythological shrine for Vikings.
