** FIXES are being worked on. This was my first app, so there are lots of bugs. I've learned since :D **
Countdown to your favorite event and have the number of days remaining show up in your status bar.
Upon running Countdown Notifier, you can set the message to be shown in the notification and the date of the event you are counting down to.
You can also have a widget which shows the countdown days.
Please watch the video if you have questions on it's usability. Also, we do not currently support Apps2SD because it requires 2.2 and there are too many 2.1 users to do this. If there are enough requests, I can branch the app and make it available for Froyo only which allows Apps2SD.
* Currently, the widget is required for automatic daily update of countdown time. This will be fixed in the near future.

Nice small widget/notifier, but the fact that only one event can be tracked at a time, that you can remove the notification before the event and that the widget doesn't show the name of the event on the desktop made me choose another widget even though I find this one more aesthetically pleasant.

Looking for a persistent notification icon, but this disappears when i clear my notification bar. Not so useful to me. =( defy cm7

Works great except that I have to go in and save my event each day in order for it to update how many days till the event even while using the widget. No auto update like the description says :-( Please make an update. Also says to watch the video but when you tap on it, it says the video is private.
