I found it to be a very good scanner. As close to if not better than one's in a patrol car! Certainly more options and wider band. As a former deputy I would say go with this app for accuracy and up to date dialog on open radio transmissions from police fire and rescue. 5 star

I really like this app. And it has potential. You can potentially scare the hell out of your friends who use marijuana. You know like when you get to their house turn it on and stick it inside the silverware drawer and close the drawer. I would recommend putting it on Chicago Police Station because there's more police activity there. But but seriously it is a cool app and if you spend the extra couple dollars you don't have to have all the advertisements.

I have both Aps there is nothing different between them. I think X Ap should have multi scanning like, City, State,County Sheriff,FBI. 911 and fire. It would be cool to have GPS maps of police calls responded to,for any state and city. I would give 5 stars for that App. Your scanners are still great.

LOVE this app. We heard shots in the neighborhood and wanted to know if it was safe to walk our dog. Couldn't find anything on the news, but turned on this app and kept up with where the suspects fled. It works and it's live. The only issue is that some PDs aren't on it. Definitely worth a try to see if yours is.

I loved it! My Father & Mother In Law both had CB radio scanner when they were alive. This is just like it. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because a lot of the time you can't make out their words, not clear. And I wish their was more chatter. Slow night I guess. Thank you very much.

I never thought I'd be listening to the???? Po-Po's☺... For thoes that don't know it is the POLICE. You know the LAW. Not thoes that sing Roxanne.????It is lots of fun. It takes time to get the hang of the language the codes and stuff like that but once you do you'll get your like you'll be hooked????,and you will hear them say "Crack head with a Police scanner ect.ect... Having fun with you all enjoy yourself...????????????????????????????????????????????

Awesome app. The 10 codes r all on point. Was doubtful I was going to find my county bcuz it's such a small city in GA. But sure enough it has everything I need for my town. Gordon county sheriff's office and Calhoun city police dispatch was surprisingly on there lol

Ut's a neat little gizmo for the radio hobbyist out there. Not to mention it makes anyone feel like batman. I want a gps map though, maybe as a separate plugin download, and an interface upgrade to have multiple channels open at once with a mute button in case you want to focus in on a singke line. Would love a recording feature as well. Aside from that, the interface is remarkably intuituve. First time users can get inti the action without thinking or sweating about it. Looking forward to an updated version!

The app itself is wonderful. Connects me to my feeds faster than any other scanner app I've tried, by far... Mostly because it doesn't bombard you with ads as soon as you launch the app. However: The two "Rate Us!" screens that I have to click through every single time I launch the app lately are incredibly frustrating... so, 3-stars for that reason and that reason alone. Hope they'll go away now.

Depending on which precinct you are listening to, sometimes the words are difficult to make out. To me, this is the department's radio issues and not the app. I was amazed at how many different cities you can listen in on with this app. I recommend downloading or opening a website that has all the police codes, so you will know what they are saying to each other and what crime has occurred. Very impressed with this app.

Worst app EVER at least in my area. It NEVER works sounds cuts in and out. Please please fix it. It is only on the Bakersfield Police, Fire & EMS feed. Every other one works just. And I no its not my bluetooth cause I have tried 3 different ones and on everything else the sound is just fine. When fixed and working right I will definitely change to a 5 star cause when it does work I really enjoy this app!!!

So far so good! Better than my old Beartracker! When the first thing you hear is that someone is in a fight with THEMSELVES & punching themselves in the face, that alone is enough to give it a shot for awhile, lol. For me, most coms are clear, & am getting tons of info. Appears that you can set favorites, so if you travel this may be gold! 4*s to start, possibly 5 after some experimentation. Well done! (I hope~ we'll see)

Does not have my area. Have used 6 different police scanners and all but this one has my city. My city is a pretty popular one as well. Why would I want to hear something 20+ miles away? Uninstalling

I would love to see more local options for the cities closer to me. The large city close to me is great, you hear real time information about were to stay away from. Dangers that your children might need to avoid or traffic tie ups to avoid.

I really like this app, very cool if ur bored you can listen in on what's going on in other towns, xities, states, even COUNTRIES!!!! Also awesome to have if you want or feel like you need to know what's going on around you! The ONLY thing I don't like is that I can't seem to figure out how to turn it off or stop it, so it's continuously playing in the background which really sucks!! Other than that, it's pretty awesome!!!! Thanks for the awesome "FREE" app, I love it!!!

A police "scanner" lets you listen to multiple channels at once and scans between them rapidly. Thus app only lets you listen to one channel at a time. Also only had fire. I can listen to my local police online so why is it not available?

Well.. I installed it and then uninstalled it when I realized I couldn't shut it down. It's going to ride on my notification bar constantly. I would rather it was an on demand type of app. No need for it to be on the top of my phone 24/7. And when I looked for a support or contact link inside the app it wasn't there

Crashes and glitches, would double feed or sound choppy flickering between pause and play at a rapid rate until I close out of the app, has an hour avg run time before it disconnects from inactivity. Fix plz same with the upgrade version, over all, it runs superb

Is a fake. It's not legal to live stream police radio chatter. And in fact for the past 10 years or more the UK police radio have now used digital channels that cannot be listened to at all. Unless you have stolen a radio from a police man. But that radio would only work for as long as that police officer notice the radio is stolen and blacklist the that radio. It's not possible to listen to the police no more. Simple as that

Great for scanning around you and maybe you will luck out and be able to scan your hometown. I couldn't get a single station to work in the town I was in but it did get all the surrounding neighboring towns. Worth the 10 mins out of your life ????

I think its cool to see what's going on with the police in my area and anywhere else I choose. Also to find out if there are accidents because my husband travels over an hour one way to work. Since he has already been in a major accident this helps to ease my mind or be prepared for emergency situations.

Doesn't seem to work in rual areas. My county isn't listed, and the closest one only offered their fire department, which was silent. Why do I need to know about a fire 40 miles away anyway, I dunno lol complete waste if time.

I connected to my local area police force. I literally just heard the cop chatter talking about a cheating wife getting seen by her husband. The husband has pulled a handgun. I'm pretty sure that robert taylor got shot. This is great!

Theres no off.....even when i hit pause....theres the snow sound still coming from my phone... Its irritating cant turn it off... Also, wanted the fire dept for the same city...your ad comes up on playstore, but it wont pick it up

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO KEEP MY BACK LIGHT ON TO BE ABLE TOO LISTEN TO IT LONG ENOUGH. AN IT COULD HAVE MCKEESPORT PENNSYLVANIA ON IT. YOU HAVE OTHER VALLEY'S. JUST HOPE THAT THESE FEW THINGS CAN TAKE PLACE

Does not work on Google pixel XL. I did download a police scanner previous to this one and work perfectly. It was called police scanner. This one just happened to offer a more particular areas that I wanted. Upon loading you cannot get into any City and cannot hear anything. Also try to press on United States , no States popped up, therefore no counties popped up. It's just like it says in the read more section it's just experimental. Probably just work on older model phones only. I guess they can stick with their older model phones.

Guess they have a serious bug to work out. United States, Alabama and Antigua were the only choices and the US pull down menu only showed other countries. Why is Alabama seperate antway??

I really enjoy listening to this. I now know when it's dangerous outside, and when I need to call my cats inside. I hear sirens all night long. I used to think there is no way that much is happening out there. Those civil workers really hate red lights. Nope each set of sirens has a crazy or sad story to go with it.

Sounds good. But would be nice to know what i was really listening to on the repeater channel. Sounded like my city's streets, but then voiceover radio traffic for another city... hmmm.. kinda confusing

Very easy to use, and it's interesting to hear what kind of criminal activity could be occurring in my community. It has the potential of keeping you out of a dangerous situation, and I can't think of anyone, especially parents, who wouldn't appreciate that. The information could also be used in forums such as neighborhood watch meetings to help them know what areas to focus on when discussing making their communities safer.

I grew up listening to police scanners. Good quality. I only wish there were more local channels to monitor. Just when I thought our city had allot of crime, I switched to another city and their crime is outrageous. Peace in the streets.

It was working great then all of a sudden it quit in my area says check back later. I hope we get an update and it starts working again. If it does I will give better rating. ...

This is way better than the last one I had. No ads that causes me to restart the app every 30 seconds! Although there are some times I have to restart BC it randomly stops playing or if I change counties they both play at the same time, but these issues aren't very often.

It's cool it has my county on it but for some reason I can't turn it off. I have to restart my phone to get the app to stop. I'm going to give it 3 stars for now. If you were to fix the problem I would then give it 5 stars.

Im bummed. I was hoping that since this is a "cutting edge" scanner that it would have Hayward, CA, which got cut (from an old app i was using) because HPD went digital. But this app really failed because they dont have Alameda county sherriff or CHP. Tho they do include the always busy, but boring, Oakland and Chicago. I want to kno why 5 police cars are flying past my house dammit!

Terrible- on my S4, once I started listening, there was no way to shut it off - "Kill App" didn't even work. There is no option to exit - "Why would you want to exit our fine program? If you do manage to exit our program, it MUST be a mistake, so we will helpfully restart the program." Intrusive and annoying. There may be good stuff on this app - the other reviews are so good - but I will not put up with an app that won't gracefully exit when I no longer want it.

Really good app for you to know what's going on around you. So if you here the police or the fire department sirens, you can turn on this app to hear what's happening. You know the local news doesn't always report everything to the public.

I used this app for a while. At one point the station I listened to was removed so I uninstalled.after a Lil while I redownloaded and they had my station. Beat part....NO ADS INTERFERE WITH THE STATIONS PLAY
