Bernafon SoundGate for Android
App works well except that if using navigation software like Google maps or here maps the first couple of words of a voice direction are missed. Similar problem with Google fit.
cant use it - Not supported - The Soundgate firmware version is incompatible with the app.
When connected it is great. But it frequently loses connection.
Thanks for the update!
disappointed - bt often difficult to conect, once connected bt to aid for phone calls OK, but bt for audio is terrible
My provider says that Bernafon is working on a firmware update for full implementation on Android. Since there is no way for a user update the Soundgate device will have to be returned to Bernafon, a process that will take approximately 10 days. However Bernafon does not have the update ready as of June 9th. Update: sent the soundgate unit in via my provider and Bernafon updated the firmware so that it will work with the Android app. All is well now. Service was free.
First kept reporting that another device was controlling the soundgate. Um, no. After many tries, restarting Bluetooth, did connect. Why can't phone discover programs on hearing aid? Once configured, could change programs and volume. After 2 minutes, no more program changes. Then volume changes stopped.
Works ok. The Soundgate 3 is very smart. Almost too smart, automatically switches between without any input. If only the battery level of the remote was displayed on the phone like the Apple phones. It will show when on charge ?
When i open the program it says another device is controlling soundgate.Help!!!

Seems that my iPhone detects firmware 3.1.1 on the soundgate, and with my Android phone it claims it is not 3.1 (and that it is 3.0) and won't connect? Sounds like a logic error somewhere. Or confused programming (I love the app on my iPhone, but would rather have it working on my private non-work phone....)
