Color Capture for Android
How do I get this to work on my phone? I have a Samsung 4 from TMobile. Am I a complete moron or is there a trick to make this work?
Crashes constantly. Unless you enjoy rebooting your phone frequently, I recommend going to the paint store to pick up the actual color chips there.
Full of bugs, and keeps crashing. Do not waste your time.
I take a picture it just goes back to prev screen. I tried using from album same thing. App is useless.
App crashes constantly. Can't take photos at all. Can't load pictures. Every other function crashes sporadically but frequently.
Doesn't seem to account for shade. Keeps over-estimating the darkness of the color I'm trying to read.
Doesn't work at all right now.
When you try to use the camera to caputure a color it says that there was an error, and when you try to upload a picture it always says that it could not match a color. App is a waste of time and space.
Stops on camera. Picture match is just as bad can't find any match to any color I take a picture of. I will uninstall till they make it better with update
I'm a Benjamin Moore certified paint specialists and even I can't get this app to work correctly
The one feature that I downloaded the app for, is the one that doesn't work. Please resolve. Thank you.
App was great in helping me narrow color choices for decorating. Offers full color books, collections, you can take pictures of targeted areas and find recommended colors which either match or compliment and more.
Opening the camera to take a photo crashes the app. The app also can't find any colors in 5 photos already on the phone.
I don't think it's compatible with Android 5.0+ from reading other comments. Gives a error everytime I open the camera. Force closes when clicking icons. Uninstalled.
Camera capture doesn't work on Sony Xperia Z1.
Doesn't work.
How someone can write a useless program that takes up 33 megs of memory astounds me! It does nothing of what it advertised.
As soon as you try to capture, the app fails on my new LG g4

App closes down immediately when I try to open camera.
Used this on my HTC One M8 before. When i bought a larger phone (LG V10), the app crashes when attempting to use the camera to sample a color. Others have similar experiences.
Just doesn't work
Doesn't work on Nexus 5
Camera won't focus so colors are way off. Useless
This app crashed many many times on me when looking up some point colors. I was finally able to buy some paint, but this app doesn't make it easy. The Sherwin Williams app is much better by far.
Useless if you can't type to search
Color capture doesn't work
Crashes every time on lollipop and nexus 5
Easy to use & nicely organized!
Every time that I try to take a picture the app tells me that it was unable to find a matchig color. I do like the feature that allows my customers to find a complementary color.
Another Nexus 5 user that can't... invoking the camera stops the app. The rest of the app seems to work fine, so 2 stars for colors, 3 missing stars for the match process.
Crashes regularly, have to delete data and cache. Needs white color balance, lots of potential.
Gives me options to look for when I go into the BM store.
This app causes my camera to crash every time I try to take a picture. It also won't let me use gallery images, saying it was unable to get a color match
Great app, matches colors to some nice complimentary colors. Great for planning your paint colors. If only it didn't crash every time you try to search...
Search feature constantly crashes. Can not do a search without crashing. Please fix.
The app crashes when you use the search function. Not impressed. The colour matching is not the best. I also can not find where to remove a colour from a collection.
Every time I try to use this, it crashes. Google Nexus 5.
Opening the camera crashes the app every single time; trying to use a picture gets "no results" every single time. Fun idea, but can't use it at all.

It's great if you want to pick out 1 single color, shows every color in the world. Is horrible if you want to pick out coordinating colors. 1st problem when you select a color, you don't even realize there are choices for their suggested coordinating colors. 2nd if you expand the color you chose, then you get to see 3-6 color combos they put together. We rarely liked any of their choices. 3rd you can create groups to compare colors. You can have only 5 in each group. No problem, but you can't edit the once
