About Choose Browser

--------------------------
MY NEW APP Unlock with WiFi unlocks your device when you're connected to your home WiFi! https://market.android.com/details?id=com.benhirashima.unlockwithwifi
--------------------------

Sometimes you're viewing a web page in a browser, and you decide you want to open it in a different browser. Maybe the page looks funny or it's loading slowly in the current browser. How do you open a page you're already viewing in another browser? Well, you could copy and paste the URL, but that's more work than it should be.

Now you can use Choose Browser. If you "share" a page or link from any app, you can select Choose Browser, then you will be presented with a list of installed browsers. You can share a link from one browser to another. You can share a link from, say, your RSS reader, and choose which browser to open it in. It's nothing fancy, but it saves you a little time.

The app is very handy for mobile web development, when you have to test your website in different browsers.

If this app doesn't work on your device, please email me, and I will fix it.

This app may not work on some recent HTC phones, because of a change HTC has made to their version Android. You can thank Apple and it's lawyers for that.

This app is free, with no ads.

Not compatible with Marshmallow. When I shared the page, the app told me to install more browsers, because I only had one installed, while I actually have five different browsers installed. Too bad, I could really use an app like this.

J70%
by J####:

Doesn't work: it doesn't register itself as a browser therefore I can't use it as standard browser, and it doesn't see that you have multiple browsers if you have one selected as standard. So you can't set a standard and then the app is not useful because Android already asks what browser to chose....

Not all apps need or should be complex. Here's a good example of one that adheres to the K.I.S.S. rule "Keep It Simple and Straightforward." Say you have more than one browser and you wish to display the same Web page on both browsers, you simply tap the SHARE menu icon, select CHOOSE BROWSER, select alternate browser, and your original Web page now is displayed by both browsers. If your device has 'multi-window' feature supported by both browsers, you could view both Web pages simultaneously.

If it was an acceptable practice to "Mary" an application then me and Choose Browser would be going into our 5th year of marital bliss! ????????????????

This application works great if you don't have a default browser set as default if you do then will not work.

At first it seemed to happen only for some URL's, but the more I've used this the more it happens and now it seems every URL I ever try to share to this app just shows this error :(

This has been something I've wanted for a long time, and I fell in love with it, but I just took 2 stars away as lately I've noticed a problem. PROBLEM: Everytime I try to share a HTTPS URL through this I just get an error with something like "couldn't recognize URL", or "URL not recognized/supported" - I've only noticed it happen with HTTPS URL's, regular HTTP links work fine. Fix and you deserve 5 stars.

Sad truth is there is no one-perfect browser . Though I use a mix of uc browser , naked browser/lightning & opera mini, not one of them is perfect for every webpage or need.
