iChant Gregorian for Android
Useful app for practicing chants. Only complaint is the transpose setting reverts to zero any time the screen turns off. Very annoying. Would be easier to use if the te (flat) button stayed by the ti button.
Takes all the guess work out of weekly chants. I'm better prepared for rehearsal, saving time and increasing my confidence.
Looks promising but needs at least some basic instructions/explanation to be usable.
Simple player, exactly what I needed to practice Gregorian chants.
This app does not render properly on an LG G3 running Android version 4.4.2
Thank you for making this. I am new to singing chant and not very skilled at reading music in general. I really need to hear notes to learn a song so this app is wonderful for learning these ancient, no-longer-mysterious-notes. Plus the transcribing feature opens up a whole new world to me. I'd appreciate few convenient instructions for novices like myself but I guess I do have some websites and books i can lean on. Again, thank you.
If you like singing, chant but have some flaws in your solfedge, this app helps you find the notes. Its the Farmers insurance of, chant dont leave home without it.
This is a great, simple app for learning new chants or for refreshing a starting pitch. Thanks!
First it let's you sync your ear to the four line staff. Second it let's you transpose to comfortable range. Until someone beats it I give five stars! Could use chime tone. Could use some help screens. Could use an input and play back feature. Could use a flat Clef option. Could use bigger buttons for small phones and fat fingerms.
An excellent app for practising plainsong. Straightforward in use, and can be set to a comfortable pitch. It would be good to have the flattened note more integrated with the scale though.

I am a relative novice at reading and pitching chant so this has been an invaluable app. It is clear and easy to use and, not being musical, I now no longer have to worry about translating for a standard keyboard!
