Modbus-Droid for Android
To get 40001, put Adress to 36001
Cool app
I used this app and it worked great. Now my phone updated to Lolliepop 5.1.1 and I cannot use it any more. It loads but I cannot access the setup menus, no way to set the IP address of the target device. Any update for new OS?
thank , good app
Looks good , but couldn't find the setup menu option . using marshmallow!
Can't in to menu setting zenfone 4S
thank , good app
modbus TCP support max 125 byte at a time that why it will give an error if no. of register will be more then 125
Earlier I wrote that apparently the software it seems to think it's going to use the wifi interface no matter what. I have a belkin wireless USB to Ethernet interface and the software can't find it. Running on a Toshiba Thrive. These programs should check if there's an eth0 interface available and if so. ask the user if they'd like to use it. Apparently the completeness of Ethernet stacks varies from tablet to tablet, so if your tablet fully supports Ethernet like the Zeki or the Proscan, then this program will work as long as you turn off wifi.
I connected very easily to my wireless network. I just needed the ip address of my laptop ModbusTCP simulator and that was it. The fact that it only read one Coil at a time was kinda disappointing but in an overall it worked well. I am using a Samsung Note 10.1
Very interesting,,, be great if a graphical GUI could overlap the registers... Something scadamobile..
works good. can read modbus devices on a Lan through ip address.
Nice
If I try to read up to 124 input registers, it works. When I try 128 registers, it doesn't send data. The server (using libmodbus) returns with 0 bytes received
Works. I had a problem with a device behind a TCP to RTU gateway, but that could be a fluke.
Does exactly what it should, nothing more nothing less. Only bug i found is it disconnects if the screen rotates. Thanks Ben!
Excellent work!
Well done!
Very well written.

Nothing more than the basics, but helped a lot in getting register values.
