Up Time - Visual Alarm Clock

Simply set the wake-up time and the bedtime in the app and watch! When bedtime comes, the sky will change from sunny yellow to sleepy blue and, if you want, sheep might even jump across the screen! If your little one wakes to a blue sky, back to bed they go; but if they wake to a yellow sky, it's "UP TIME!". This visual alarm clock for toddlers and preschoolers can also be used for nap time and sleep training.

My little boy was up between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. EVERY day. My husband worked away, I worked full time, and my evenings were filled with quality time with my two very young children. My sleep, and my children's sleep, was essential to keeping this house functioning smoothly and happily. I had heard of sleep training and visual alarm clocks but didn't want to buy something new. Every problem has a solution and this app is it for us! I loaded the app onto an old cellphone, plugged it in and attached it to the wall. Voila, an upcycled cellphone turned visual alarm clock to use for sleep training. Now my little boy runs to my room well rested and excited to let me know it's "UP TIME!" at a more reasonable hour.

Please note the following:
** As the app keeps the screen awake (so little ones can count sheep or watch the sun rise), please plug in your device or the battery may drain overnight.
** For security, be sure to either use screen pinning or place the app in a "Kids Place"-type environment to avoid unwanted device usage (such as random facebook postings or deleted messages).
** This is a great way to make use of that old cellphone you never use! Velcro it to the wall using 3m command strips and voila, instant wall clock or sleep training clock!
