Self serve for Android
It never works and always wants to redirect me to a webpage which is a nuisance and defeats the purpose of the app. It wasn't perfect before the last two updates, but it was definitely working better than it does now.
Why the hell would Bell think we want just a URL for an "app". The last version was just fine. I could at anytime check my account status. Now the "app" tells me I have to wait for a text from Bell before getting access to my account.
Can't login at all. Sends me to a Web page which doesn't seem to exist. Has been broken for numerous months. This is simply part of Bell's unpleasant experience. Fortunately it won't affect me for long since I'll be moving to another service provider as soon as possible.
This recent update ruined the app. Now I can't login as a virgin mobile member.. keeps taking me to bell home page on the browser. Stop 'fixing' perfectly fine working apps!!
Why do you need to see my private info and such like pictures and my contacts?? They have nothing to do with billing or my plan info...I wont download the new version till such invasive permissions are removed... unacceptable and rude as far as I'm concerned...
It didn't work for me, then I tried to remove it but I just ended up uninstalling its updates and disabling the app, a few weeks later enabled it and it worked, then it updated again and stopped working again. If you uninstall the updates in application settings and disable auto updating on the Google play page (menu button) its great.
I don't understand how I am supposed to check my phone bill when the app NEVER WORKS. Its been AT LEAST four days and I can't tell if my bill went through or not.
Since a few update the app try to open my web browser, making the app useless. (Not only that but it don't even work in the browser!!!) It use to be amazing, now this is a useless bloatware.
Update is just a pain. It takes too long to load and asks you for your phone number each time to send a stupid text for a link. Was way better before.
When connected to 4G app still tries to connect me using the WiFi method. Also does not seem to work without Bells APN proxy which breaks SSL for some sites and apps on AOSP / CM based android roms
Why did they have to screw with something that was working fine. Now I can't get my billing info or anything.
Constantly getting errors everytime I try to use it. Why they changed it I have no idea because it worked fine before. Havent been able to log into the app in forever
The app only works if you want to spend more money with Bell. But check your usage or data...nope. That might prevent you going over so Bell can make more money. Didn't the CITY mandate the providers provide an easy way to manage your phone. Bell=fail on that count.
wtf??? this app used to work great, now it just opens a Web browser to a page that says website not available, I can no longer check my account or data usage. you suck bell.!!!!
The last update is a joke. This app only trigger you internet browser and do nothing else. Was much more efficient when the app was standalone without the need to open another app, that was more user friendly...
Your app sucks!! I can't remember how many times I have had to uninstall and then re install your app. I'm not sure what you did but it sure doesn't work ad well as it did before the update. If this is how your customer service is, I think I will just have to take my business somewhere else. Too bad too cause I really liked bell.
I have been using the app for a couple years to check my bell account and pay bills. It worked fine but the recently update totally screwed up. It required me to verify my number. Then it sent me a link thru sms that doesnt work! Now i have to go to the desktop site to manage it. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Works great. Loads fast thanks to my network speed. Also works great on my virgin accounts. Just wish I could view or download my bill through the app. I've been getting more failures recently :( which the app could just send my phone number via the wifi
The old 2.6 version was fine, but this month they've disabled access from it by saying the site didn't support data compression. The new one sends a link for Wi-Fi access that is already timed out even if you use it 20 seconds after getting it. It'd be easier to go to the store to pay now.
App opens my browser first thing and then gives a 'cant open this page' error. Doesn't matter if I am on wifi or not.

Will not work CyanogenMod, tried M5, M6, M7, M8, M9, and even the latest M10 and this app never works, it just forwards a "one time link" to the browser only for it to tell me the link is one time only and has timed out. I've also tried setting my default browser to Chrome and Dolphin too with no avail

I liked self serve before the change to newer version.When I clicked self serve before I was taken directly to my account.Now every time I try to access my self serve my email doesn't work and I can't access my account.This new version sucks.BIG TIME.I wish the old version wasn't replaced!

And as of recently i just got a letter from virgin mobile saying if i dont top up, they are going to shut off my phone, and i cant freaken get on the self serve even to do that, i need to give my cell number..which since it has been so long for some reason they decided i shouldnt even be able to recieve txts anymore : Help! I need to top it up by FEB 8TH!! How do i get in this thing..
I downloaded the latest version, it shows Installed but it's stuck in a loop back to the google app store. It wont let me go to the Bell self serve Web site
Since the new app replaces this one, please update it so that it can be completely uninstalled. Right now I can only roll it back to a pre update status.
Once agian bell has moved in and has to mess it all up. this app was great till they changed it. Now I have wait for a text that sends me a link that tells me it was a one time thing and I can't see my balance anymore if the app goes back to what it was I'll change my rating. Not happy with it.....and it changes once again
Can't open this app, keeps telling me to come back later. Blah blah bell doesn't want us seeing our usage.
Come on, Bell devs, do I need to teach you how to make a proper app? Why have you not fixed this yet?
This "app" is actually a bookmark that points to Bell's mobile site, but only works if connected via Wi-Fi - not their own mobile network! So why install this app at all? Well, no reason, really.
At least it had some usefulness before, now you might as well use the browser //Great, now even the browser doesn't work anymore. ..how can these jokers stay in business.
Why the update exactly? Cause it does nothing for me except keep me in a continuess loop over and over again. App needs to be installed, which it is but I can' go any further than that. Bell! Fix this please!

In principle it is a good idea in practice it is hit and miss if you try to use it on WiFi. Some times it works, sometimes not. Fiddle with it and it works again. Turn off the WiFi and it is a great App that works well, but that is a pain I the behind.
This app worked perfect, now i have to keep uninstalling the update if i want to review any of my data. When It updates it is picking up my bell turbo hub phone number and only giving me info on it?? If I uninstall the updates, it goes back to reading my cell phone data. Update, and it displays only turbo hub details and I can't track my cell phones data use any more??! Bizarre. Last time i let it update, it just plain stopped working, wouldn't load! I will keep uninstalling this update.

I used to use this feature all the time on my Bell devices, but the update on December 20th broke it. I cannot connect to the service unless I'm on WiFi, which I never ever use on my phone because I have a data plan. If I try to use it on data, it simply says "The webpage is not available". Bell, way to screw up something that's working and then not fix it, even though I'm obviously not the only person this affected.
