Maybe this is just my phone, but I can pair with the receiver without this app and in the exact same way. I thought there might be some benefit to having the app but it does nothing whatsoever for me.

Don't buy this product, it's a waste of money a week after I bought it from Verizon Wireless store in San Francisco the box no longer pairs with anything. I exchanged it twice and still no results. Does not work with my HTC Onex+ or nexus 7.

Not the app's fault...it appears that Verizon cripples the NFC on the Galaxy SIII. So, I have to pair my phone manually to the Belkin music device, then music streams flawlessly.

I was a little nervous about the sound quality, but was pleasantly surprised sounds great.

Have to take the skin off the tablet to pair (a PIA) . I'll just pair the thing the 'old fashioned way', thanks. The HD player is nice though; optical connection is better than digi-coax.
