X AIR for Android
The most un intuitive difficult garbage app one can imagine. Zero documentation, no help, terrible navigation. This must have been designed by rocket scientists because it so overly complex and convoluted. The way it saves settings is ridiculous .... you have to wade through 4 layers just to save anything, and then it don't even save it! Stupidest overly complicated app!! They need to dumb it down so it is actually functional.
Pocket dialed 911 twice in a week before I figured out it was this app. The app works great just never exits out after opened. The work around is to restart the phone every time you are done using it. Using a s7 active.
I have used this app and the xr18 (my first one, i have 2)on a weekly basis since 2016, soloists to full band sets. The app doesn't have much documentation, just like the mixer, but it is extremely powerful and intuitive. I have not run into a situation yet that this app cannot handle.
The app has a return to interface notification that doesn't close. It can be forced to stop from my app settings, to do what others can with a swipe. The app has decent fader control. Too bad it doesn't let you do as much as the iPad or comp version (limiters, equalizers and such).
This app works good when it stays connected to xr18. I have been having issues with the app since my last software update on my moto Z. It will not connect to my xr18, consenstently. Im not sure what is going on?
Does pretty much everything I need to control the X-Air 12 but desperately needs the facility to change the drab dark boring colour scheme.. I do a lot of outdoor gigs in Spin and its impossible to see the screen in daylight, despite having a tablet with one of the brightest screens available. Why choose dark grey highlights on a black background ? Please add the option to change the colour scheme to something lighter !
Great, I use this app 3 or 4 times a week. It does everything it's supposed to do. I occasionally get connectivity problems with the xr18 in some venues. More to do with interference and or radio reflections within the venues I think, the app is flawless.
This app works great. I can quickly change delay and decay on effects. I wish there was a way to quickly select buses like on the windows app. Also, will there be a x32 version of this soon?
Needs bigger slider bar!!! It's way too small for fine adjustmens. Either that or if there was a micro usb manual slider or (roller wheel that does 0.1 adjustments) that you can plug into a tablet and then just select the channel you wish to adjust that'd be good
Loading [factory] channel presets no longer works since last update... Update: Uninstalling and Re-Installing the app fixed this problem.
Was deciding on whether to get this or Mackie's offering, and this has many similar features, but having access limiting for adjustments to monitor mixes from every musician on stage would be great, and a universal access to files would be great too- like being able to load shows from Dropbox or OneDrive.
So far I like it. It will not however save mute group or channel link information. Neither of these save to the app but the XR18 remembers.
I use this app several times a week in worship sevice. It works best in conjunction with the PC app. I can sit in the worship service with my family, and if I hear a sound going out of range, I can make a quick adjustment without leaving my seat. I love it.
Create app, but I have a major concern, how can I lock this down or the xair with a password to stop instrumentalist messing with the settings! A password will be a create feature
I'm surprisingly pleased with how well this works in conjunction with the stage box as a console offerings. I use it weekly, and I'm sort of shocked each time everything goes of without a hitch.
I have the x air 16 so far so good I use Android app only disconnected one time but Didn't interfere with the show..
I'm having trouble with this app on a Nexus 5 phone. I can connect to the WiFi initially but it drops out intermittently and I have to turn WiFi off and on to reconnect
If the router's SSID is too long, you can't use the app...you end up without the "connect" or "search" buttons. Bad testing people!!!
Professional level performance in an app that's free (but only useful if you have bought the mixer from them).
It's a blessing for me as my church soundman and audio/video ministry. Now it's also very easily to take outside when we've worship events in the parks, etc. Amen
This app is great but wish it had an inverse color scheme so I could see it better.
It is ok. The iOS version is much nicer! Can we get the Android version there?
Very nice app.... Wish list... Speaker time delay alignment on xr's
Great app for controlling the XR18
Would be awesome if you could use headphones from this app as iem. Like roku. But great app just the same !!
No work on Flyme 6.2.0.0A. I upgraded my phone and program stopped to find the mixer. Fix it please.)
How to upload a song on these app plzzz help
I love the app. On my way to improving my hybrid mix and digital set
Bad app
Sweet entry-level to the digital era of audio mixers.
Thanks..
Great application, works as it should
Working almost perfect.

Working fine
Sweet
Satisfied with it
I agree with others that we need a channel fader on the channel EQ page; also, changes made in Mute Groups are no longer showing on the main page Mute buttons; and it would be great to have a comprehensive user guide. But I have used this twice every Sunday for nearly two years with only one WiFi drop out. Excellent mixer, great app.
Works as a control system for Behringer X Air XR-18. Not as pretty as the iOS version, but better looking than the desktop exe. 90% functional control, with a few points of frustration, but completely capable, official, and free.

I have been working in professional audio since 1997. Since then I have work with great analog and digital board and I can tell you that Behringer is not far from them. I own an X Air 18R since 2016 and use it 1 a week and the results are great. If you follow Behringer youtube channel and the X Air forum you will find good info. In the firt day in use I have connections issues but follow the Behringer suggestions and fix it. Should be great if you can plug headphones to your device to mix while away from the unit.
