The feature list is a little limited now, but it absolutely solves my biggest gripe with untappd - speed of checkin. The beer search, checking process and location lookup are all much, much faster than the site and the app itself is very easy to use. Looking forward to some more features in future releases.

This app is for any Untappd user that wants a faster experience without some of the more frivolous features. Another improvement BeerSpec has is that the check-in feature is faster and considerably more accurate than the Untappd website. Plus the icon is totally rad =P Much props to the Untappd website for its cross-platform compatibility and smartphone integration (i.e. checkin via GPS) but I know that I will be using this app to log all my beers. Great job Mr. Betz!

Love untappd, but this app tended to crash before actually adding a review. Galaxy S3 on Sprint with jelly bean.

This app doesn't really do anything it says it does. Scan didn't work, continually asks for untappd login.

Asks for untapped sign on, could not get it to link

When I try to log in with my Untappd account, the keyboard doesn't show. I can't enter my name and password.

I would love to see this app developed further. I love the fact that it looks up rate beer, although it'd be better if it could access the rate beer app instead. Adding more of the untappd features like pictures would also be great. The use of the bar code scanner is cool. It'd be cool if it could use Google Goggles to look up pictures like tap handles. Good start though. Keep it developing it.

Untapped app is better. Zxing team barcode scanner (required to use scanning) invades privacy.

Way faster than the native Untappd app. I'd also like to see my feed added as a feature.

Unable to "toast" friends on this app (or on my Evo Shift Internet, for that matter). Will up my review when I can interact with friends on the app! :

Found this after hearing about the native app of untappd being released for android. The search results take a long time to come up, and the abv always shows 0%. If you want to add a beer to the database, I couldn't find a place to do it. It was obviously written for iphone and ported to android because in order to search a beer you cant use the search hard button, must hit menu to get to the search feature. The foursquare places list rarely found the places that were relevant to the location.

... But Untappd has a native app in the market now.

Can log in, and the app force closes when trying to exit. Nexus S Jelly Bean.

Could use some ui refinement, but proves to be very useful and responsive.

Tried to find 5 beers by barcode all unlisted

Won't login to my untappd account. Just takes me back to the login screen. Uninstalling.

Not very flashy but definitely makes checking in beers super fast by scanning bar codes.

Kept doing force close. Kept asking for Untappd login. Not much functionality.

I have had problems with multiple postings of the same beer. Counted 8 of one & 4 of another on Friday (9/16). Have to go in to untappd/Twitter/Facebook one by one to remove all of the duplicate postings. Needs to increase number of Wish List selections displayed. Some use the Wish List as a shopping list. Needs to rotate along with the screen. Also along those lines, I have a QWERTY keyboard & when I open it the app refreshes. Otherwise, very satisfied.

Only issue is screen doesn't rotate, still fast and access to database is great (homebrews are there!)

Barely able to ascertain what the app is for, as you can't alter friends and must go to the website to do anything...but that won't connect to FB.

Definitely needs the ability to see all beers that have been checked in already. It only has the amount but you should be able to see all beers
