Bem vindo ao aplicativo Bee Alert, uma plataforma para que apicultores, meliponicultores e a comunidade científica registrem ocorrências de desaparecimento ou mortes de abelhas em seus apiários, contribuindo para a identificação de suas causas e a formação de um senso. Os dados são sigilosos, e serão utilizados para estudos científicos. E você pode ainda decidir se quer ou não que o local de seu apiário apareça neste mapa.

O aplicativo Bee Alert Geolocator é a primeira plataforma de identificação por geolocalização das ocorrências de desaparecimento e mortes de abelhas. Os dados coletados devem ser fornecidos por apicultores, meliponicultores e pela comunidade científica, numa atividade de crowdsourcing. Os dados serão mantidos em sigilo, e apenas a causa apontada na ocorrência será compartilhada, mediante autorização do informante diretamente na plataforma. Os dados serão validados pela equipe do CETAPIS, liderada pelo pesquisador e organizador da campanha “Bee or not to Be?”, Prof. Lionel Segui Gonçalves. Estas informações serão exclusivamente utilizadas para estudos e publicações científicas.

Esta iniciativa está inserida no contexto da campanha “Bee or not to be?” em proteção às abelhas, com o objetivo de ilustrar e tangibilizar o problema do desaparecimento e morte de abelhas. Daí a grande importância em realizar os registros.

O aplicativo Bee Alert recebeu medalha de prata no Concurso de Inovação Apícola do XI Congresso Ibero Latino Americano de Apicultura 2014, e sua utilização passou a ser oficialmente indicada pela FILAPI para todas as confederações que a compõem. Os dados especificamente coletados pelo aplicativo nestes países serão compartilhados com as respectivas lideranças apícolas e científicas de cada país. The Bee Alert Geolocator application is the first identification platform for geolocation of the disappearance of occurrences and deaths of bees. The collected data should be provided by beekeepers, beekeepers and the scientific community in a crowdsourcing activity. The data will be kept confidential, and only the cause indicated in the event will be shared by informant authorization directly on the platform. The data will be validated by CETAPIS team, led by researcher and organizer of the campaign "Bee or not to Be?" Prof. Lionel Segui Gonçalves. This information shall be used only for studies and scientific publications.

This initiative is part of the campaign "Bee or not to be?" Protection to bees, in order to illustrate and make tangible the problem of the disappearance and death of bees. Hence the great importance in making recordings.

The Bee Alert application received silver medal in Beekeeping Innovation Contest XI Ibero Latin American Beekeeping 2014 and its use became officially indicated by FILAPI for all confederations that comprise it. The data collected specifically for application in these countries will be shared with their apiculture and scientific leaders of each country.
