Beck Taxi

Been using it for 2 months now and I never had any problem and I'm a frequent rider. Really easy to use and my cab arrives on time shown in App.

It's gotten better. Books cabs, lets you pay for them. The cab position tracking is not great. Gets the job done.

The location in this app is off sometimes so your cab will find you a block down the street.otherwise ok.

This app is just awful, learn something from Uber I can't even enter a destination

Dramatically better than nothing. Set up your PayPal account this and you get a no-frills version of Uber. Some notable features include: estimates for fares and booking in advance. Worth having in Toronto!

I use it all the time cheap and use full whenever I need a ride emidietly I get a guy picking me up rate 5 try it!

Time of arrival constantly changes. App said my trip was completed while i was still in the car on my trip. Just poorly designed application.

Worse app/company. They pick and choose who they think is most convenient, rather then for the customer .

The time the app gives is triple the time the actual cab arrives. I always end up waiting over 20 minutes for an estimated time of 4 minutes. Deleted this app and sticking with uber.

It is convenient to use the app, but it doesn't pick up the right address most of the times and I had to call beck to fix the issue.

You cant just enter an address if it doesnt appear on gps

The updates have made it way better. Never had any issues with it.

This new version sucks. I have used the app since day one. The older version before this new one had many more features. You could give store location at a plaza in the notes now you can't. You could have your home address in profile so you just type in home and it comes up. You could also rate drive now you can't. I changes phone number on new app and saved it but in your computers it still showed old so I had to uninstall and reinstall the app losing all my favorites

What a bad experience with the app and the Beck Taxi. First time use and I got charged by both the driver and the app and the app was not making it clear at all with the auto pay to tell the user NOT to pay the driver too.

Gps runs in the background even once the app is soft closed.. One would need to remove it out of memory for the gps and battery to not be impacted

With the new update, are we no longer able to order a cab for a future date/time? That's truly disappointing as that was the main reason I used this app.

Where's the feature that you can see your cab in the map and the ETA? And the other feature for future orders too. You shouldn't removed those.

You can't see available taxis in your area on its map. After ordering a taxi, it doesn't show how long will it take for the taxi to get to your location and doesn't show your designated cab on the map. I used it once and at the end of my trip, the cab driver tried for five minutes to process my fare through its gadget all to no avail and I had to pay cash, while I had registered my credit card in its app. This app ONLY replaces the initial phone call to Beck. That's all.

Mad my life easier, for having to call operator all the time

Have used this once so far and was great! It was as convenient as I thought it would be except the pick up point was off slightly and had to go get taxi to turn around and come to THS! Hopefully this will be improved as I would rather not go chasing down my cab!!!

Its a good app but as a regular customer you should be able to save your address and note if u have one..my exact address doesn't show when I hit pick me up so I always have to enter it. Every time. Faster to call.

Excellent improvement

I'd prefer to use Uber to request even traditional taxis. This app is a bit of an embarrassing attempt to copy Uber functionality. At least Uber forced some effort to improve service in this city. Uber is the only reason the traditional taxi brokerages have apps now.

Convenient and have had no issues

Super easy, quick and convenient. Driver was early, quick, efficient, trip was less than the quote and payment took no time at all since I saved my credit card and default tip amount. Love it!

Ordered cab, showed up in 5 min. Worked perfectly!

Poorly designed and won't even let me uninstall. Just like taxi's stay away.

I will not use Uber. Toronto taxi drivers go through training and licensing. Labour law protection for the drivers and passengers can't be taken advantage by untrained, unlicensed Uber drivers. Flag all reviews as spam that are blatant Uber advertising.

Go uber.

Fck Taxi, they all can't drive nor speak proper English. You tell them downtown, they will take you to Markham.

Worked well, pretty easy to use.

Needs improvement

Bad app design allowed me to too easily tip $100 instead of $1. Cab, dispatch, and head office were extremely unhelpful in trying to resolve the issue. I will never use Beck again.

No information on when pick up occurs, seems to be issues on latest devices (Android 6). Uninstalled.

I'd love to be able to use this app but for some reason, certain addresses won't come up in the address search, including my home address. Can you fix this? Thanks for developing the app! I hope it gets fixed ao I can use it. Cheers
