About Colorblind Helper
Any user can use this tool as a Color Picker to know the name of any color, but it has been designed to improve the visual accuracy of people with Color Blindness by giving them information such as the name, Color Composition in RGB or hexadecimal representation from a pixel in a selected image.
This application use Euclidean metrics, Kd-Tree(3d), (kNN) search algorithm and a database of names & color values to let you know the name of a given color. The database has currently around 1500 Color Names.

I am a color blind person and what I need to know is basic colors (green, red, blue yellow, brown). Colors like Tan, cenereous, or gold fusion doesn't mean anything for me. What I mean is that I don't know if Tan (for example) belongs to green, brown or orange groups.

I'm red green color blind and thought it would help me identify resistor color codes. I want just the primary color not an extravagant name. Doesn't help.
