Beam Messenger: Real Time Text for Android
I really enjoy this app...works great.Me and my girlfriend wanted to get away from Facebook and messenger because of people private messenger...but needed app like messenger...we found this app and love it! We only wish we could send video...not just pics.
Great app and interesting way of messaging people. The only thing that could make this better would be group chats, if possible anyways
Push notifs still broken
UI is outdated
I downloaded this app today after a year to see if the app is working good now but there is no changes in the laggy app design and it cant even let me login with my previous account.. No efforts are being made by team.. Dissappointed.
It won't let me log into my account
I downloaded this so my wife and I could text with more fun options. It's easy to use and offers neat options. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the widget doesn't seem to be working for me and it would be nice to see messages without having to open the app every time.
Sometimes the app doesnt open it closes says it stoped working I cant recieve messages from some of my friends .. Sucks
Great idea. please PLEASE make the notification sound changeable using our own sounds.
Can't U make the UI more Smooth
Small bugs in app otherwise 5star
Sometime it totally gets blacked out
Introduction to group chat with same way the app works wi be the way people start using this app.
Beam to beam only
Where are the potato chips? :/
Optional live text?
It's pretty cool lol
It's a pretty good app but there is a few problems with it. For one example if you send a picture is sometimes crashes the live messages or just messages in general but you just have to back out and go back in the conversation you are in. Another problem that I'm sure they will fix is it does randomly crash. Other then those 2 things it's a pretty good app and more people should try it
I really like the app. Brings texting to life again and makes it kind of fun. Anyone know if there's a way to add a picture to your contacts? I looked everywhere but could not find.
Love the idea and overall performance. #1 complaint is the autocorrect from keyboard. Looks good on my end, but the corrections aren't made in the conversation, especially spaces. Makes it difficult for end user to read. #2 is photos are all rotated 90 degrees. #3 is the lack of ability to send files. Coming along nicely though and I am slowly getting others to try it. Keep up the work. Would definitely pay for this app.
Loved it. Best app to chat with friends and know their inner feeling though this amazing realtime letter to letter chat.
After this recent update I'm noticing it's smoother on my note 4 so I'll give it 4 stars now. But now the next step is optimizing it for lower end phones and adding more customization features, to the chat itself or options for sending different mms types of messages. Maybe a cleaner interface overall. This is a good app tho, and I love the concept, it's pretty cool lol but for the 5th star that's what I need to see. Keep up the good work
This is what real chat should be like. Forget the other apps you're used to
Nice thumbs up. But I wish we can call
Haven't fully started using this, but all the setup and tests with SID went smooth AF. 5 Stars if it's as rad as it seems =3
Process toughened than other messanger
It's crashing so much
Totally original.
But it's fast

I love the brilliant real-time-updating interleaved-bubble concept! ... I can't believe other apps don't have a character-by-character / simultaneously-see-what-each-other-is-typing / see-them-backspacing&deleting type of feature. ... Duh! Similar features were widley-used in early two-way real-time network messaging apps in the late 1980s -- before the Internet was even available to the public!! Definitely in the TALK utility on VAX/VMS (originally over DECNET network) and *possibly* xtalk/ytalk on Unix, both becoming available on TCP-IP/Arpanet/Internet. There was another in the early 2000's on Windows but I forget its name (it was implemented as a specialized telnet-protocol client, connecting directly from one person's computer to the telnet server on the other person's computer but displayed what both were typing/backspacing/deleting simultaneously). Even in these apps you could see what the other person was typing/deleting/backspacing/retyping in real time. But AFAIK, all of these old apps showed what one person was typing in the top half of the window and the other in the bottom half of the window -- not nearly as nice as the interleaved bubbles in Beam.
Good innovation. Next try mobile to mobile screen share. Till now mobile to PC and Mobile to tablet share is there.
Unique style of communication. It's like chatting face to face!

Nice messenger app. Better than the rest. Cool backgrounds and full of extras. Simple to set up. Just need more friends to download it to join up. Great.

Its amazing,,, a revolutionary in the chatting world
I really find this to be the coolest messaging app ever! It has some kinks to work out but no doubt, if the team behind this fantastic app remains honest and loyal to its users, this can be an extremely successful app. I love it! How do I submit bug fixes? :)
Very useful!
