I REALLY wanted this to be good. Now I'm just hoping that if I work with it I can find my way around the bugs and it can be serviceable. Too bad, a really good app for tracking beach body workouts would be worth $4. This is not.
Would like to input more accurate measurements (to the nearest inch is to much) it will take a long time for me to register improvement in muscle size. Unable to register with beach body due to location outside USA or Canada. Otherwise not a bad Ap for recording info, never bought the workouts as I already own the DVDS.
Purchased workouts on iPhone, switched to Android phone and had to pay again. Android app does not pick up where I left off, and "unavailable" is a message that I get way too often!
Doesn't save workouts consistently. Good for reminders but minimal ability to track workouts beyond reps and weight (what about band color??). Underwhelmed, thankful it was a cheap app. At least reminds me of program order without having the paper chart in front of me. Samsung s5 active, p90x3 user
Seriously guys, your devs need either more education or you need a new development team (but maybe if they did one workout it would help) . This app is full of so many bugs it's hard to use. WHY WOULD I WANT TO TRACK SOMETHING AND NOT BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT I DID LAST TIME I DID THAT WORKOUT? WHAT. THE F.? I WANT MY MONEY BACK
Not smooth. Unable to make notes which is critical. Never seems to show you completed a workout. No graph to show progress?
Workout cancels out a lot and have to start using over, then it duplicates the numbers in taking. If I schedule a workout sometimes it's there, others it's not. Wish I could design a program that I could save.
With the " Do your best, forget the rest" mantra in mind, Beach Body should be ashamed of this product. They didn't do anything close to their best. Sync issues galore, workout lists aren't correct, you can't count on it even tracking your work out as complete. This is a total fail! Do not buy this program until they fix it.
Haven't been able to add a complete workout without the app stopping and having to start over. Like the idea, PLEASE FIX!
So many bugs. Unbelievable how many times I have completed a workout and recorded it only to find the next day it is now marked as not completed. These are very simple bugs to fix and I have been using the app for quite some time, why hasn't there been a single update? How about with all the extra space under where I am recording my reps and weights you put the information from the last workout including my notes. It takes way too long to access the history between moves
I am quite pleased with the app. Although I cannot sign in to my beachbody account on the app, I still very much enjoy using it. It helps me keep track of my workouts, and doesn't let me miss a day.
Alert!! Alert!! Please do not spend a dime on this app. ZERO responses to known issue: TRACKING workouts STILL broken. Reverting back to incomplete workout in calendar. Come on?! You guys can fix this issue. Its minor but makes a big difference!
If I could, I'd get my money back; I really can't believe I had to pay for this junk. I wind up doing everything through the web portal because the app is so buggy. If you log your workouts that way, you don't earn any of the in-app badges. About the only thing this app will consistently do is tell you every single day is a rest day. Funny enough, the print calendar has rest days but the app doesn't let you log one as a "workout." You have to tell it you did some other workout you didn't, or let it post as a skipped day.
The app looks great and has the potential to be a fantastic tool, but it needs work-- too many kinks right now. For example, it's tricky to have a completed workout stay marked complete. Hit one back button and the workout shows as not complete. Limited ability to move schedule around when you skip a day and then play catch up.
Won't save completed workouts, reverts them to not completed. If I can't keep track of what I have completed what is the point? Postpone feature only works prior to the scheduled workout time, won't work if you missed it.
For one, though it works for P90X3, you can tell it's focus is on X1. Also, I downloaded this app four days after starting the program, yet found no way to go back and mark that I did those workouts (even though I marked them on the website itself). Also, most workouts in block one have nothing to track, so sometimes I forget to load the app up when doing yoga or something. Again, no way to go back and say I did it. Save the $3 and use a notebook.
It provides some useful features like tracking workout reps & the fit test, but I deeply resent the audacity of charging in app purchasing for copies of workouts that I already spent over £100 to have on DVD. That, Beachbody, is an absolute rip off.
I have to edit the dates if the workouts, if I could just select the workout to complete without it preselecting the date ahead of time it would be better
Lots of bugs, completed workouts that are shown non complete.. doesn't sync well.. lost all my info when I switched phone..
The app is a great resource to reference the workouts and schedule while doing P90X, or in my case P90X3. However the app is very buggy when it comes to tracking my workouts. When marking off newly completed workouts, the app would often remove previously completed ones.
Couldn't find an easy way to edit my workouts in case I missed a day or substituted with something else like hiking etc. Btw I'm tracking P90X3. Idk if it's any different from the other two in the way you track but it's too complicated as of now to track with P90X3. Please fix BEACHBODY I know you can do better.
A convenient way to track your progress and stay on schedule. Enables you to view notes and see your reps from last session while you're doing each move. Crashed sometimes, which is why it doesn't get 5 stars. Luckily it saves your progress even after a crash. Would recommend if you're committed to the program!
okay, yeah it gets more expencive the more ripped you get. but thats the thing, you get ripped sticking to these dailey workouts and eating right. just start with the ab ripper x and go from there. then look back at your beginning picture and feel proud. YOU CAN DO IT!
App has many flaws but the biggest by far is that YOU MUST LOG INTO YOUR BEACHBODY ACCOUNT FIRST ONLINE if you plan on using both. If you don't, any data you enter on the App will be lost. The scrolling to select is a pita. You can't put in halfs or markers for using modifiers. Into that would be nice to know. It constantly shows alerts about resting. Clear the alert and it comes right back.
Stops and freezes frequently. Makes using it while working out a pain. I like having the info on my phone, but it would be nice if it worked all the time. Have had 2 diff phones do the same thing. Now on Moto X
Overall app does what it says it will do. However, it needs polish. The interface is not intuitive to help the user accomplish what they are trying to do. It took several attempts to get the app to save a completed workout! Rescheduling a workout is next to impossible. I guess you shouldn't miss a day! I've gotten used to the way the app works so it works for me. But as a developer, there still much to be improved to make this app as great as the workouts it tracks!
Waste of money on Galaxy S5. It will glitch and bug out constantly. Putting 5 of the same exercise in a row and then you have to scroll through to find the right one. I bought this to make things easier but it has turned the 1 1/2 workout into 2 1/2 hours just trying to get the dumb app to work. There used to be a free one and it worked 1000x better than this one I paid for. Considering I paid for the DVDs this is horrible quality control. Not happy.
Randomly dumps my program progress and other info...opened it today to find the calendar says I haven't accomplished any workouts, it had the wrong start day (so telling me to do the wrong workout) and my pictures are gone along with the rest of my profile information. Very disappointed, especially since I had to pay for this app despite spending all that money to buy the program.
Things that look like you can click do nothing, I doesn't show you a program so you can see what's coming the next few days. Programs are hidden under "directory" why isn't it called programs? Visually, it's a great app, but not easy to navigate.
I have used the app for both p90x3 and p90x2, it does a good job of basic tracking and I like the notes section. My biggest complaints is losing my tracking when I got a New phone and if you don't enter information in a timely manor you can't go back and do it or add extra workouts you may have done once the day and or time has passed. I would pass on this app until the work out the bugs.
The app works well with keeping track of your progress. The one annoyance is the rest day alert that keeps showing up, even though I have alerts turned off. Overall I am satisfied with the app as well as the program. Well worth the time.
If you're a fan of P90, this app is for you. It lets you stay on top of your workout schedule and track your progress. Initially there was some crashing, and it would return to the previous move on its own while tracking, which was very annoying. Personally, I've really seen that decrease and I use this app almost every day.
The app works pretty well, but I've had problems where it loses a workout (the workout I'm supposed to do disappears from the schedule and all the other workouts get moved up a day) when I travel. Also, when inputting information during the workout, it has problems if I try to log more than one exercise at a time.
I like this app for keeping track of my workouts, watching my progress and receiving the reminder they send out. My only criticism had to do with moving days once you start. I ended up with the flu for two days and could not walk let alone exercise. I can't get the calendar to adjust to that by moving Tuesday workouts to Thursday, etc. Not a big deal but not as smooth as when I was on track.
Its okay for basic tracking. There are bugs: 1. It does Not properly sync to teambeachbody account. 2. If you change or skip a day or double up you have to manually modify every day going forward 3. Constant rest and photo notifications even if you have done them 4. Random closing of app during use
The app works okay, but I have two big problems. First, and most importantly, it cost money. I paid $400 for the whole set up so this should be free. Secondly, I work out with my girlfriend who has a Windows phone so it would be nice if I could track her workouts too. BeachBody recommends a workout buddy, but only if they use their own phone and pay their own $2.99.
It gets the job done and is great for tracking progress, but the interface is a little messed up. It needs a UI overhaul, but does what it needs to do.
Unfortunately being from the u.k I can't join the beachbody forum as it wont accepted uk postal address through the app. It's only available for Canada and the u.s . Not happy as I've just spent a fortune on your products.get it sorted!!!
The app takes a little getting used to, and works best if you own a P90X workout and have a TeamBeachBody login - but even if you don't it's a fantastic workout tracker. EDIT - Needs to track Elite Block with P90X3 as an actual programme. No support atm.
