বিপিএল ২০১৭ চূড়ান্ত সময়সূচী

বাংলাদেশ প্রিমিয়ার লিগের জমজমাট পঞ্চম আসর শুরুর তারিখ নিয়ে কয়েক দফা সিদ্ধান্ত পরিবর্তন করল বিসিবি। আজ আবারও বিপিএল শুরুর নতুন তারিখ জানানো হয়েছে। পুরনো সূচি অনুযায়ী বিপিএল শুরুর তারিখ ছিল ৩ নভেম্বর। পরিবর্তিত সূচি অনুযায়ী বিপিএল শুরুর নতুন তারিখ ৪ নভেম্বর।

সিলেট থেকেই শুরু হবে এবারের বিপিএল। সিলেটের নতুন ফ্রাঞ্চাইজি সিলেট সিক্সার্সই উদ্বোধনী ম্যাচে মাঠে নামবে। প্রতিপক্ষ ডিফেন্ডিং চ্যাম্পিয়ন ঢাকা ডায়নামাইটস। আজ বিসিবি থেকে পাঠানো এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তির মাধ্যমে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়। ১২ ডিসেম্বর মিরপুর শেরেবাংলা ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে বিপিএলের ফাইনাল।

মূলত বিপিএল শুরুর নির্ধারিত তারিখ ছিল ৪ নভেম্বর। প্রতি বছরই এই তারিখে বিপিএল শুরু করা হয়। তবে এবার দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকায় অনুষ্ঠিতব্য গ্লোবাল টি-টোয়েন্টি লিগের সঙ্গে সূচির সংঘর্ষ হওয়ার কারণে প্রথমে বিপিএলকে দু’দিন এগিয়ে আনার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়। সে সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী বিপিএল শুরুর তারিখ ছিল ২ নভেম্বর। উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান করার কথা ছিল ৩১ অক্টোবর। কিন্তু বিপিএল শুরুর সময় ঢাকায় কমনওয়েলথ ইন্টার পার্লামেন্টারি কমিশনের একটি সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে। যে কারণে, পরে সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয় বিপিএল শুরু করা হবে বিভাগীয় শহর সিলেট থেকে। নতুন তারিখ নির্ধারণ করা হয় ৩ নভেম্বর। একই সঙ্গে বিসিবি সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়, দেশের অর্ধেকজুড়ে ভয়াবহ বন্যার কারণে এবারও উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান করা হবে না।সেই নির্ধারিত সূচি পরিবর্তন করে আবারও ৪ নভেম্বর থেকে বিপিএল শুরুর তারিখ ঘোষণা করা হলো। তবে পুরনো সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী বিপিএলের পঞ্চম আসর শুরু হবে সিলেট থেকেই। বিপিএলে নতুন ভেন্যু হিসেবে এবারই প্রথম নাম লেখাতে যাচ্ছে সিলেট। সিলেট ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়াম ছাড়াও এবার বিপিএল অনুষ্ঠিত হবে মিরপুর শেরেবাংলা ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়াম এবং চট্টগ্রামের জহুর আহমেদ চৌধুরী স্টেডিয়ামে
