Very low teaching potential. It simply tells you a given move is right or wrong, with no explanation. There is no understanding and so no learning.

Great interface, nice problems. Worth the price. More problems and tracking of unsolved ones would be nice, though.

Excellent but sound setup not saving. Needs Left/right swiping on list view. Random rotation&colouring and own problem db integration needed.

There are lots of problems, it's easy to use and it looks good. I wish it would keep track of previously solved problems.

The problems are good but everything else about the app is unsatisfactory. The font doesn't scale properly, resulting in overlapping words and buttons with next that wraps. Every time you enter the app, it picks a problem randomly rather than return you to the last one you were working on. That wouldnt be so bad except the list of problems doesn't work, and no matter what you select from the list you are taken to problem 1.

Great interface, but it needs too many problems fixed. It says wrong to variations that obviously work. I'm 8K on kgs

Tesuji Beginners-expert life and death. I am currently 1 dan and still struggle with the advanced problems. I have also posted some of the expert on kgs most 4-5 dans still struggle with them after 7 dan they could see it normally within a minute. Each level contains 200 problems excelent app.

I bought this app but it only runs on one device because of a goofy, broken license checking bug. Additionally, many problems have many alternate solutions which aren't shown.

This is a really great app. I use it almost daily. It will increase your ability to read out life and death situations in your games

I am about 5-10k. For me, the beginner problems are easy, the intermediate problems are a better challenge (I get them right about 60 or 70% of the time it seems), and there are two more difficulty levels beyond that, Advanced and Expert I believe, which are definitely harder. In addition to life and death, there are also tesuji problems. If you are below 15k or so, I think the problems may be a bit difficult because when you choose the wrong answer the app just tells you the answer is wrong. There is a review mode which allows you to play out variations though, but beginners may find that they need ore of an elaboration.

Pro: good problem collection. Con: It force closes sometimes, doesn't remember sound setting, doesn't keep track of what you solved.

Good application, but i hate that it constantly keeps trying to check licence and forces me to turn on my internet connection, please update app to remove this annoying message

Why don't leave an email at the Developer's Website? Without internet connection (no 3G & wifi), the checking license process could make the app unable to continue. Has anyone else experienced either?

This is the cleanest and the simples of all the android go problem apps I have found. It interacts with you on most reasonable move paths, although some paths simply show up as failed at the first move. The problems are sorted by level, which is great, and you can access them by number, image, or level.

Good app. wish it conformed better to android ui, and would be nice if we had a few more alternatives in problems, but great job!

Looks good so far: looking forward to updates Pros and cons: The problem UI is responsive, looks clean, and runs fast. All these lead to a good tesuji program: it's easy to run through many problems quickly, with fast feedback. * The random number generator feels a little funky, as certain problems come up repeatedly. It may simply be the low number of beginner exercises that's causing this. * The user interface doesn't feel quite native yet to Android, as there are separate exit / close buttons that are a bit redundant.

Good app with good problems, but illegal moves are permitted in review mode (sometimes whites don't disappear or are even allowed to be placed between 4 blacks). This bug could guide to some possible solutions to be considered as wrong (I'm still a beginner so I could be wrong). The interface is OK but the possibility to slide through the list would be better.

...between "Master of Go" and this one: Pick this one. Looks good, handles well - exactly what I wanted.
